When I’m on the road and I see people on their phones while driving I get really angry and about 7 times out of 10 it’s young girls that are on their phones while driving.😡🤬

Should be automatic termination. Companies should randomly monitor like they do with drug test to see if they are violating company policy before they cause an accident and cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Lets face it the officer was parked I the middle of a highway. What kind of stupid do you have to be to do that. The driver deserves to pay for his negligence, but 25 yrs in jail is crazy for an accident. If anything he violated the company policy, and was driving irresponsibility.
When I was a driver all we ever talked about was safety. I got out of driving when this new type drivers, car and trk, would rather text then drive. There’s no excuse for even leaving them turned on while driving.

Unmarked government camera cars need to be recording every day. Volunteers can drive them. Cameras 360° and the volunteer just taps a button, to mark a "review"… Mail out $100 fines, that double on every repeat offense

On another note, that first patrol car didn’t have any reason to be parked partially in the road. Still the truck driver should have been watching but the patrol car should also have been off the road
When are we going to hold cops responsible for their stupid and reckless decisions? Why was he parked int he middle of the lane? The cop created that situation in the first place. Not even any emergency lights on.
