Having played DDO on and off since it came out, and Neverwinter, there is rather large advantage in favor of DDO that it really is F2P as you can buy almost everything without ever spending any money. Neverwinter started off as mild p2w, and has now progressed into no real point in playing it if you are not willing to give them money. DDO also has far more variety and customization, plus its DnD 3.5 which is second best DnD version imo (best one being 2 as implemented in Baldurs Gate series, as nothing since comes close to F/M/T for me). Put simply, two max level characters of same class/race will be identical in Neverwinter, while in DDO they do not have to be.
Should also mention, I can understand making negative videos sometimes, but first look type video of game with HUGE fanbase … bad idea man, just … bad idea. There is no reason to hate on DDO. They even just gave away literally hundreds of dollars worth of adventures 100% free to all their players. We cant all like same games, for example I certainly am not buying nor playing Last of Us 2, but why do a video on game when you have nothing nice to say about it and its been around like 14-15 years? If you are going to trash games go look for new games which actually suck.
