Not faster for editing, in fact, it’s a detriment unless you have hours upon hours of muscle memory.
However for color grading, it can come in handy for sure.
I appreciate this tool has a few options that a keyboard doesn’t, but dude, come on. The over the top enthusiasm with which you set in and out points, record to the timeline and play back at different rates of speed makes it sound like you can’t do this on a keyboard. It feels like you’re really giving your viewers the hard sell on this product and doesn’t feel like a genuine review at all.

If you want to edit faster in premiere, start by opening any other editing software.

Yessss! It’s so coool. I love using my Loupedeck console for editing photos and videos. I also like the fact that you can re-assign buttons to fit your preference. Plus, the way you can really finesse and tweak your photo edits ever so slightly to get them just right. I paid $250, but it’s worth it.
How is this different from the loupedeck live
I was wondering what it takes for a program to support it? What makes it able to support Adobe products. I know the underlying answer money and market shares. But does it have to come from loupe deck or does Affinity Software have to write the support files? Would be interested if I could get it to support Affinity, Publisher, Photo and Designer as I already have Final Cut Pro X.
What about Davinci Resolve 16? Is it compatible with that software program?

The color grading is the only part I can see it being a time saver, the editing section is pretty much glorified keyboard shortcuts. The clicking noise on the wheels is a little distracting too. If it was 40% cheaper I’d probably buy one.
