ESV Legacy Bible: Heirloom and Trutone Review

ESV Legacy Bible: Heirloom and Trutone Review

In this video, I take a look at the ESV Legacy Bible, in both the Heirloom and Trutone editions. I also compare the layout, said the be the “Renaissance Ideal” to a couple of old books, Plato and Phillip Doddridge from days gone by. Enjoy!

I Just purchased my first ESV journal bible. My church uses NKJV ( I have been using the Kindle version of the NKJV for years). I think I prefer the ESV and the physical bible.🤫😃

There is a lot being said today about China but affordable, well made Bibles are a blessing. They may never reach the quality level of American and European Bibles but perhaps they will and perhaps still be cheaper.

I would like to see that layout in a verse by verse version, which would be easier on us 70 plus year olds.

Would love this Bible but in a smaller size and with the deuteros and hardback.

I’ve got one of these in a 2012 LEGO printing and its beautiful. The paper is just immense. I had it rebound in goatskin from ‘genuine leather’. But I really do prefer a ‘verse by verse’ layout (and especially in a dual column).. but thats just me. I really do love your verse by verse single column legacy you had rebound by ForTheKing, its just noice man!

I really like the TruTone version. I’m so glad Crossway made a less expensive version of this wonderful layout.

They are both so nice! I wish we could have easy access to those kinds of nice Bible in the Philippines…

I got this bible in blue goatskin before they moved to China. I liked it so much I bought my wife one in purple goatskin. They are beautiful bibles. And the single column layout and the wide margins makes it a fantastic preaching bible.
