I just thought maybe the idiotic line of “we seem to be missing a Master of War and a Master of Whispers” is supposed to hint that in King Bran’s world neither are no longer needed?
There is alot of ignorance in these videos about television (or movie) production. The longer the show ran, the more famous the lead actors were becoming. They were becoming in demand for motion pictures, etc. This means, that they were demanding more money per episode. Since HBO is a premium cable network, its revenue is based on subscription, not advertising. In other words, they don’t sell really expensive commercial spots during their more popular shows. People would go to pubs and parties to watch GOT, rather than subscribe to HBO. So, the more expensive the episodes became, the less lucrative they became for HBO. So, they had to cut the number of episodes per season. There was less nudity as the season progressed as well. Because characters were demanding more money to do nude scenes. Granted, some episodic television specifies what the salary increases will be, projecting the additional seasons. However, they do not all do this. Nor do they do this for all characters. So, basically, GOT became too expensive to maintain the quality of the show.

Watching 4 minutes of this video, I feel you already put in more thought into it than D&D did for the entire season 8. If you polish a turd until it shines, it will still be a turd. There is no rescue for D&D’s GoT. D&D sold out GoT for a $200M Netflix contract and a tease about Star Wars. They were told to massacre Game of Thrones. Make it horrendous, stupid, alienate the fans on a nuclear scale. Burn everything and sow the fields with salt. Make the parents who named their children "Daenerys" and "Khaleesi" (lol) hang their heads in shame. Make people want to spit on HBO. Destroy this Game of Thrones trademark forever. And they did. May the Father judge them harshly. D&D betrayed HBO, everyone knows it, but no big media is brave enough to say it publicly.

If we took the ending of season 8, and created season 9, using logic (I know silly right?), the first that would happen is all of the houses in Westeros would break into war to try to gain the thrown again. Why would the Dornish be ok with a northern ruler? How long could the remaining Dothraki exist without pillaging local villages for food and slaves? They’re not exactly farmers are they? Why the hell is Jon Snow alive? The first thing Grey Worm would of done is publicly behead Jon Snow and the remaining Lannister. Why is a creepy kid in a wheelchair the king? Because he has a good story? Ive got a good story: a priest a rabbi and nun walk into a bar…. This goes on and on. The ending of this show is so completely stupid it bloggers the mind. Season 8 doesn’t need to be explained. It’s right in the surface. It’s about as deep as a kiddie pool.

I do hope that Sansa gets some power in the books too. But not by then having her say that she is glad that she was abused and shit, but by framing it as her taking all that abuse and manipulation and using the lessons she learned to be a confident leader who does not make the mistakes that got her brother Rob, her cousin Jon or her father killed. She’ll be a bit more ruthless because she’s seen that honor destroys men, following one’s heart destroys men. There is only the ladder in the end.
