This video was submitted to us by the hotel security manager who was standing watch on September 14, 2003 at a WINGATE HOTEL in Illinois. His voice can be heard in the background of the recording.
According to him, people staying at the hotel began calling in noise complaints to the front desk with reports of loud screaming coming from the 2nd floor–particularly room #209. There is no known history to the room according to our investigation. However, upon further review, we found that over the years, multiple complaints of “strange noises” were reported to be coming from the room. This is the only known recording of it.

It’s funny how people think this video is edited/fake. The audio is a mix down between the security camera audio and a separate recording from inside the office (which is specifically there to record in case of robbery to the hotel). People will always come to there own conclusions why a video is fake (like cameras pointed at the door). What they don’t realized is that there are about 80 cameras in the hallways around the hotel, all pointing at doors and hallways.

I have no idea about the contents of the room but that sounds more like a bird screeching, maybe a crow got trapped.
I remember watching this many years ago thinking it was just kinda strange. I did over 20 years as a Paramedic/Firefighter in a metropolitan city and have seen some really spooky sh*t!!! Now that I watch it again I truly believe this is/was staged. You do not hear screaming on the recording until John gets there. Once he is there you hear the screaming, however he is not keeping the mic on his radio keyed up, so you are not hearing it over his radio. In fact when he does key up his radio and talk you do not even hear him talking so how would you be hearing the screams? If you think the camera recording the video might have audio, then they would have heard it when they focused in on that camera. Unless someone has an explanation for how they are hearing that screaming… I’m calling B.S.

Nice fake video Turner Clay! The Wingate doesn’t have a pool like this, nor a 2 person security staff in its $100/night little hotel. Turner, you do direct some good ghost movies on Prime, though.

Almost seemed to be wearing a Brides dress. I work for a Marriott and we host so many wedding events. A possible backstory, would be that the Bride found out her man was cheating on her on the day of the wedding and maybe she killed herself and still haunts the hotel they were hosting at.
It sounded like a cat. Could it have been hiding under the bed? I think it was an animal scream.
