You can modeling with 4GB graphics card, 12-16 Ram but not really for simulation, animation even not good for Substance a.g… You should definitely star with 8GB Graphics card, 32 or 64 GB ram the you don’t mass up…

All this goes over my head. Yeesh, I just want something affordable but also reliable. If it can handle Blender smoothly, I’m down.

Video certainly establishes the fact most of us use 16 Gigs for the norm for most PC’s and laptops, although pretty soon with more advanced motherboards and technology? We’ll all jump to something that makes 32 Gigabits the norm and 16 gig will seem outdate eventually. i’ve been using computers long enough to see the changes we’ve gone through. And we aren’t ever going back to when we were all on; Windows 95 or 3.1 even. When RAM processing power and speeds were measured in MB instead, lol.

I truly like your videos Tuts, and find them very educational although i wish you gave the vids an end credit sequence now? So you could at least list and make references to all the "clips" and where they’re from exactly. Cheers.

  17. Emirworks on November 13, 2020 at 8:50 pm

Yes I love the tone of this channel too, really inspires me when I watch it. Just a quick question I’m a bit confused about using other people’s footage in my videos, and its ramifications. As I see you have ton of cool footage you constantly show us from various sources, isn’t this problematic in any way, regarding mostly copyright related matters?

  36. Anita Renieri on November 13, 2020 at 9:15 pm

    Hey JUST A QUESTION…

I m really confused. I have an IPad Pro 2020 and I woould like to use it like a graphic tablet. Programs i m gonna use are some Adobe ( Illustrator, Animate, premiere, Ae….) and programs more complex like CINEMA 4D, Resolume Arena, toon boom for animation 2/3D and video mapping. So I don t know if buy a MACBOOK PRO 16” with Radeon 5300M or a Windows with NVIDIA. But If I buy a laptop with Windows, I need to know if it s possible to use my IPAD like graphic tablet, and if you Think that MACBOOK PRO it s ok for those things? Thanks.

  39. R Shinigami on November 13, 2020 at 9:19 pm

I’m in a dying need of an exceptionally good laptop that can easily run MAYA or Blender, 3d modeling and animation programs in general. I googled a lot and found some great oned but since I’m not an expert in laptops (and technology in general for that matter), I wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations? The budget isn’t the problem, but laptop is necessary for me since most of things I work on are at school, so portability is very important to me

  40. Videomedia Television on November 13, 2020 at 9:23 pm

Please review the lenovo legend 7i15 with the rtx 2060, it out preforms everything you put here at comparable price.

  41. Economy kho on November 13, 2020 at 9:23 pm

believe me if you wanna invest in a 5 to 10 year laptop buy Lenovo they are not the fastest but they will endure good performance for years other brands start lagging after 6 months

  42. Solomon Aime on November 13, 2020 at 9:23 pm

  44. Rose on November 13, 2020 at 9:26 pm

Would the Msi Prestige 14 core i7 with 16gb ram, and GTX 1650 work?
I’m a 2d/3d animator looking for a good portable work station and hopefully not having give up an arm or a leg to afford something good.

I’ve just seen so many mixed reviews on this laptop, so I thought I’d ask someone who knows their stuff better than me.

  46. hamitokia on November 13, 2020 at 9:27 pm

How about the pros and cons between laptop and desktop… is portability important?

  47. Jorda Borodo on November 13, 2020 at 9:30 pm

Would an ASUS TUF FX505 or Lenovo L340 work for starting in 3D? They have Ryzen 5 3550H and Intel Core i5-9300H processors with 8gb of Ram and and GTX 1650. They’re on sale in my country going cheap
