To argue against it’s bad for gaming, that desk is way too small for that desk, it needs to be deeper, or have a the keyboard and mouse out further with a drawer.

  4. VanSanPro on May 24, 2020 at 4:19 pm

you should run games in a 27-inch window, it would basically be like running multi-monitor setup except so you could have stuff in the background visible without borders.

I use the exact same bench as my desk I’m glad I came here. I feel like this desk is too shallow for that screen.

i just got a LG 43 " inch smart tv for free. atm im using a 32 in samsung tv as a monitor via HDMI not very good resolution, but i i am not sure if i have this exact tv. but, ive looked at the specs for the LG 43 inch 4k smart tvs, and the resolution. is amazing, and i think you answered all my questions, i game, i play DC universe online, so . i also play battlefront 2. i think bf2 is the only fast paced game i play for fps. so i think ill be ok. using my new tv. my gpu is not the best its a EVGA 1050 3gb GTX , so. anyway if anyone has any tips for me with this tv. ill edit this comment and add a screenshot , cause i dont have the legs for it, my friend lost them, he had it mounted on the wall. so thats a different problem but i can remedy it. but any tips would be great. using a high quality tv like this as a monitor. thx

Hi I have a question about this monitor. I have 4 separate monitor setup, each 21 inch and want to convert to this one. However, I want Windows to detect it as separate monitor, because I have a recording program which i need to choose specific monitor to record. I also need to do webconference and it needs to allow me to designate 1 monitor for the presentation while I can use the rest of the monitors to do other things. Does the split screen feature allow the monitors to be treated as separate?

I have a question that I can’t seem to find quality info on in the case of using a gaming laptop with a dual graphics card set up (Intel UHD/Nvidia 1050ti using a 4 K TV as a monitor)
-Asus i7-8750H 6 core 16GB Ram. If anyone knows anything about this kinda thing please comment or let me know, especially since Intel’s website that detects you PC specs and tells you what setting is best for which game said that my set up would not play Far Cry New Dawn BUT it does very well and on a 42; 4k for that matter at 60 FPS. So now I just have more questions. hope to get some help. thank you.

I love this monitor. The edge like moving the bar its hard to see bc its not curve. I dont like curve. 101% perfect for productivity. I have change out many Display port 4k high speed cables and it flicker and go dark for 1-2 sec every now and then. Anyone else have this problem?

  22. Scotty B on May 24, 2020 at 4:32 pm

Do you think this would be good for stock trading (where you need good resolution for small numbers on charts) for lots of charts, or do you think multiple monitor would be better?

  23. An AN on May 24, 2020 at 4:33 pm

is ultrawide 34 typical monitor wider than this, anyone can answer? its very important question otherwise I can’t make it fit

  24. Jimmy bolt on May 24, 2020 at 4:33 pm

Hi good video I have a question.

Would it be good enough to see trading charts on and as clear as say modern iMac screen in your opinion ?

    Thanks

    Jimmy

  25. VanSanPro on May 24, 2020 at 4:33 pm

needs to be curved when it’s this big.

  26. GoodMorningWood on May 24, 2020 at 4:33 pm

Love this monitor. Also what keyboard is that?

  32. Vripiat Buzoi on May 24, 2020 at 4:40 pm

Nothing is ever too big but I do wish they would curve it slightly at the edges so the eye line of sight is always perpendicular to the screen surface.

  33. Michael Guy on May 24, 2020 at 4:48 pm

    what card are you running

  36. Alexander Iaccarino on May 24, 2020 at 4:54 pm

I want to view a 20"x30" PSD within the monitor without panning around. Would that be possible with this monitor? Sorry if you mentioned the screen length and width and I missed it

  37. Jack Turner on May 24, 2020 at 4:55 pm

This monitor is certainly niche but it has uses that only it can perform. I plan to use one to observe multiple virtual machines at once.

  38. Sean Zappulla on May 24, 2020 at 4:56 pm

43” inch monitor I would expect a 8k IPS screen.

I’m in the market for a 43" tv to use as my monitor, just bought the LG 43UM6910. After watching this and a few other videos I feel save to use this as my new desktop monitor.

  43. Andy Jame on May 24, 2020 at 5:04 pm

_This is a very sharp and and extremely good monitor⤃>__JustU.Faith/LG-27?土__ although the stand isn’t good. Works well with my MacBook Pro. If you buy this monitor get a different stand. The one provided is poorly designed and doesn’t hold the monitor steady. The stand looks good but that’s it._

  47. Casper Johansson on May 24, 2020 at 5:11 pm

The compression on the audio is way too harsh in this video

  48. TwstedTV on May 24, 2020 at 5:13 pm

I heard that if you are close like 2 feet away, you can actually see the pixel squares on this screen. That its a bit weird because of that.
Also that if you look closely, you can see icons and other things with blocky edges. Ive been eyeing this monitor for several weeks now in November 2019.
Im in need of (x3) monitors. I have a large corner desk, but my sister says this one might be a bit large, specially for (x3) monitors…..LOL
I currently have (x3) monitors that are 30 inches. But they have been through hell and back and surviving Hurricane Sandy as well. I had the 3 monitors now for almost 10 years.
And last night November 16th 2019 while watching a rerun of The Big Bang Theory, one monitor (the center main one) decided to die on me.
I tried everything including testing it on 2 other systems, yup its dead…. and the other 2 monitors are showing their age, hence why they are on the sides and not the main.
Anyways, huting like craxy for 2019 monitors without breaking the bank , and no less than 30 inches.
I also have been eyeing some 32 inch monitors. and looking at specs & prices. I wish Youtube had newer 2019 videos instead of giving me 2014 videos.
I wonder if you still have the monitor, if so, what do you still think about it…?

  49. Shookie on May 24, 2020 at 5:13 pm

THANK. YOU. for this review. JUST what I wanted to hear. EVERYONE’s focusing on the gaming aspect of this, but you’re taking the all-around bits and pieces of it aka everyday work. That’s great to see. I was quite certain to go for this monitor to begin with, but your review convinced me furthermore. This monitor will be close to perfect for my daily use as I will do sound, photo and video editing, multi-tasking + browsing quite a lot, having multiple video streams up AND even casual console and PC gaming.

Right now, I sit about 100cm~ away from the monitor, and my biggest monitor is 48", but that’s a TV, so it’s not exactly the best solution for my purposes. But this monitor will surely fulfill my needs completely, more or less.

The fuzzy edges may seem to be deal breaker for a lot out there, but I guess I’ll survive that considering everything else the monitor have in place.

One question: What are the dimensions of the stand? I cannot find it anywhere… I find the dimensions for the screen with and without the stand, but not of the stand itself…

    Thanks for the review!

I still say the best screen I ever used is a CRT 21" with RGBHV Connection sadly I can’t remember the name now but the resolution was beyond 1080P as standard. And the RGBHV Connection made it flicker free and steady.

    I also used a Acer Predator 32" 4K Gsync screen. XB321HK

    And a 27" 1080p 144hz asus screen.

    I used to be a hardcore cs 1.3 to 1.6 player 8 hours a day+ grinding haha.

Would you be able to recomend me this LG 43"? Today I’m older and I still enjoy games but now I play games to chill and I love adventure and exploring in game sometimes FPS but mainly games like GTA V, Skyrim, Fable and alot of older games.

I mainly watch movies today on my pc with the little time I have after work house family etc. 🙂

I’m still running 2x 1080Ti so framerate is still no issue at 4k 60hz what worries me is screen tearing thats why I bought the G-Sync 32 inch. but I sold it.
