  9. Jim McMaster on June 22, 2022 at 8:31 pm

Unless you’re ripping people off, no way you made $1,000 on those little jobs

Something safe , where a robot will not take your job . Another job or business I believe is safe are daycares , and hairstylists .

  15. Champster on June 22, 2022 at 8:42 pm

So you make 365k a year?

  16. Viking Robot on June 22, 2022 at 8:45 pm

I’d use tapcon’s connecting the post to the brick.
Ram sets are famous for just exploding the brick.
Run tapcons in after throwing a length of automotive wire in the hole to give the tapcon something extra to grab and hold tighter since it’s brick.

in ny state they pay you 20 a week to do that stuff

  18. Kregon (The Crimson One) on June 22, 2022 at 8:47 pm

Did you pop out the cork of the new garbage disposal? I run an appliance repair company and we get at least 10 calls per month about their dishwashers not draining. It’s usually the cork causing it.

  19. Chad Lee on June 22, 2022 at 8:49 pm

I may need to move where you live. That much for a smoke alarm? Around here they would expect a new one put up in every room with the cost of the alarm itself part of it.

  20. Dr. Paul Plumbing Heating on June 22, 2022 at 8:50 pm

I hope you knocked out the Plug for the dish washer line in the disposer

  21. Dustin Cordell on June 22, 2022 at 8:52 pm

if you are just a little capable its to easy to make money in this lazy society i had a friend order uber eats when she had a car and the Arby’s was 3 blocks away if this reflects even 20% of our population we are finished as a nation

  22. Mike Schwendeman on June 22, 2022 at 8:52 pm

First time viewer and fellow handyman! Do you bid your jobs? Hourly, and if so how much? Do you have a state contractors license and insurance? I’m 44 and have been in just about everything residential since a teenager. I did construction project management for 7 years though love the freedom of remodeling and handyman.

  23. Macintoshi Mann on June 22, 2022 at 8:52 pm

Love it! Thinking i should consider this as a career. First repair that scared people was years ago. I ripped apart my car to replace a part that made the auto store employee shudder. Last job was repairing a discontinued sump pump back-up battery by replacing a corroded dip stick with a guitar string. I dont understand whats special about my mind but it sure is handy!

  24. Chris Fisette on June 22, 2022 at 8:53 pm

How do you come up with pricing?

  25. Mad Mike on June 22, 2022 at 8:53 pm

I wanna get into somethin like this. Being a professional plumber doesn’t net me near enough money to afford a house. I want to pay off my truck and make a life. These jobs looked relatively easy compared to the shit I have to deal with.

  26. Johnny Cee on June 22, 2022 at 8:55 pm

    You in Portland?

  27. Entertainment Yang on June 22, 2022 at 8:56 pm

Easy money, always want to be a handyman

  28. klonoa VE on June 22, 2022 at 8:56 pm

I have done 3 of these things myself…………where do i get my handyman certificate?
    ….
and more importantly where’s my 1000$

  29. Sean on June 22, 2022 at 8:57 pm

Do all these people pay you in cash?

  30. Erik Anderson on June 22, 2022 at 8:58 pm

Yeah it’s crazy how much money you can make when you’re the owner of the business lol… then people get a bunch of little handyman minions and they work for the owner too.

  31. Ponchoman07 on June 22, 2022 at 8:59 pm

It would have been nice if you had detailed how long each job took, after you were done with it, and how much you charged for each job. Without knowing this, we have no idea how you got to $1000 in one day. All we saw was you doing some repair jobs, (which was helpful, but no need to mention you made $1000 without showing us how you got there.

  32. N Camp on June 22, 2022 at 8:59 pm

So now your making 500 a day or charging double due to bidenfaltion … making 1500 a day

  33. WORLD ORDER WATCH on June 22, 2022 at 8:59 pm

What do you actually net a month though I’m talking about all expenses?
It’s called the cost of doing business.

  34. M. C on June 22, 2022 at 9:01 pm

Definitely not easy money you have to possess the skills I’m sure this guy works hard but good for him for working for himself & making good money & not working for someone else & only making an hourly wage while the company owner reaps the rewards of his blood & sweat That’s why it’s good you have a particular skill invest in yourself work for yourself because all you going to get is crumbs barley enough to survive working for someone else .

  35. Richard Carrillo on June 22, 2022 at 9:02 pm

Dude How do you justify charging $150 for putting a smoke alarm .I know you can charge that much But that doesn’t mean you have to .That’s that’s insane That’s crazy That’s not even close to fair

  36. John S on June 22, 2022 at 9:03 pm

I’m a DIY and saved myself thousands over the last 40 yrs

  37. Johnny Cee on June 22, 2022 at 9:06 pm

  38. Mr. Toelicky on June 22, 2022 at 9:06 pm

Have done all these things as a home owner myself, I can hear your grunts even while sped up. I know those grunts well. Getting down in shitty positions under the sink. Not comfortable.

  39. William Cooper on June 22, 2022 at 9:06 pm

"handy man makes 360k a year"
    lmfao… snake oil fk off.

  40. Jim McMaster on June 22, 2022 at 9:08 pm

The fact is people are tired of guys promisingly to be there and don’t show up. If you do a good job for a good price, they will have you fixing the whole house

  41. Larry Lang on June 22, 2022 at 9:08 pm

When John Moore sends someone to check out an electrical problem, they charge $120 to change out a $3 wall plug, that’s how.

  42. Benjamin Hawkhurst on June 22, 2022 at 9:08 pm

How did you get your business? I mean y had to have a certain amount to pay for your work and time and the Biden gas price hike.

  46. nomad90125 on June 22, 2022 at 9:14 pm
