I don’t have trouble fixing my consoles. I’ve fixed friends consoles for them before. But I have struggled to find cheap broken consoles online
Where do you recommend getting replacement parts like the hdmi
or you can get the consoles for free of charge if you know how to repair it or pay someone who can fix it for you for like $50 so where do you find opportunities like this you might ask simple any manufacturer brand who rather than throwing broken/defective electronics into landmine you can have the manufactor donate them to you as a "gift"

The first ps4 I bought was from a pawn shop and had a broken HdmI port. I brought it back because it wouldn’t working so they gave me a better ps4 and $100 for the inconvenience. So I pretty much got a working ps4 for $150

My launch PS4 console turns on fine, but no DualShock⁴ controller wants to connect to it. Right before the issues started to happen I noticed that when I pushed the PS button to see what the charge on my DS4 controller was & it would show a circle with a line through it. Basically the Ghostbusters symbol but without the 👻 ghost.
What do you think is wrong? I haven’t bought a new one because we’ll I’m on disability Ina wheelchair & the PS5 is coming out in a less than a year. So I’d rather just wait & save up & get one of those. If anybody knows what the issue is, please let me know so I could fix it. Thanks everyone.
