How The Mandela Effect Has Been Brainwashing Everyone

Memory! By many accounts, memory is what makes us, us. Our sense of self, according to many philosophers and scientists, is informed by what we remember, and don’t remember.

But what does it mean if everyone around us misremembers the exact same thing?

I remember back in the 90’s when Mandela was back on TV, and I was very confused because I remember there was a big event on TV with people crying at his death. I remember telling my family the details I remembered. Not sure how I was able to get that from anywhere, when the 90’s was still the dark ages of internet. Didn’t really start using the internet until the early 2000’s. How that alternative theory applies about it being a game of telephone doesn’t sound right to me.

I can buy a false memory based on spelling, since it is easy enough to assume the spelling of something, or confuse an actor on a VHS tape for someone else.

Mandela’s televised funeral in the 80’s is what I remember. I don’t see how that specific memory can be so clear, and was shared by so many people without knowing it was shared until recently.

If there is a movie or TV show where they show an alternate universe where Nelson Mandela died in the 80’s, which was made in the mid 80’s to early 90’s, I can see then where the confusion may have come from a false memory. If it was something that looked like a televised event, I can then see how it could have possibly have been a false memory. Otherwise, my confusion of seeing Mandela again in the 90’s was jarring.

My girlfriend swears I had metal braces in high school, she claims she remembers me coming into school with dots on my teeth and talking about it. She also says she remembers me getting them having them off.
I remember getting Invisalign instead because I didn’t want metal braces. She remembers my Invisalign but says I had them after my “metal braces” I never had.

The one that got me was C-3PO’s silver leg. I had all 3 Star Wars on VHS when I was a kid and have seen each one literally hundreds of times, I feel like that’s something I’d notice. Nobody else I’ve asked has noticed it either. Guess our brains just disregard it completely until we look right at it.

so funny thing, my Orchestra Symnphony class had an issue like this. There was a song we had to play called Celtic Suite. Those of us who were sane (me and people who had an average IQ) pronounced it properly, with a hard C sound. Those who seemed to be affected by what I could now explain as the Mandela Effect, pronounced it as "sell-tick". You CAN say it both ways and still be grammatically correct, however, the way it was named / coined was with a hard C sound. They either hadn’t heard the word enough to realize that they were saying it incorrectly because they were simply reading what they saw, or you could say it was an example of the Mandela Effect.

None of this made sense to me until the lockdown started..now I feel the ME and flat earth was created to test if people would believe something contrary to their logic as well as division. It worked. Im very open to theories but this was a successful psyop.

I think most of us watched Bearenstain Bears when we were too young to read, or maybe just never bothered to read it. Bearenstain sounds like Bearenstein in the southern American accent the theme song is sung in.

I’m not watching this… listen – I have shared memories with friends and family, over things like Dolly having braces in Moonraker. This is just a BS video. Yes, there are plenty of Mandela Effects which are down to misremembering, and I was able to work that out for myself. However, some are most certainly not, and to be told otherwise is to be patronized.

  22. Freedom fighter on July 21, 2020 at 8:32 pm

They were 51 yhen later puerto rico was added as 52 …so 52 states then later again 51 and now friggin 50 ? if i said 50 states when i took my green card 30 years a go i would have never got it …Now as a cit8zen i must believe 50 ? THE LHC COLIDER WITH THE D WAVE COMPUTER ARE RESPONSIBLE F8R ALL THIS .The satanic scientists at CERN did this .They admitted to doing this .

    NOBODY REMEMBERS THIS.
    IT EXISTED.
    IT WAS A MAJOR CITY.

  28. Josiah Carroll on July 21, 2020 at 8:37 pm

"Luke I am your father" – much more quotable, easy enough to misremember (and one of the most famous scenes in cinema history)
"Mirror mirror" – catchier than "magic mirror" again famous misquote
"Berenstein" how many names end in "stain" vs "stein"
Most examples of the mandella effect refer to language, and considering how large language plays a role in human memory and mindscape i think that should be considered.

  30. Васильев Святослав on July 21, 2020 at 8:41 pm

I always thought that <<Mandela effect>> is just a synonim to a <<common misconception>>. I’ve never felt that it needed something more of an explanation than simply lack of knowledge due to disinterest in a particular subject

  31. Deyaboo u on July 21, 2020 at 8:41 pm

Growing up I was always told in school, in the books, by my teachers, by my parents and everyone around me that Texas was the biggest state. Never bothered to look it up or question it my whole life until last week, I found out Alaska is the biggest state, at 21 years old, fooled my whole entire life. I really do not understand how I was so ignorant to that fact, maybe something else is happening behind the scenes.

  32. Bonnie Clyde on July 21, 2020 at 8:42 pm

The Mandela effect is only meant for the 144,000. The hints and clues are jaw dropping. My #1 anchor memory is "Dilemna, NOT Dilemma. Remember? I can assure it’s happening, but the most high has placed a veil over most people’s minds. He can do whatever he wants.

  35. Ippiki Õkami on July 21, 2020 at 8:45 pm

There’s only one answer, CERN trying to prove existence of the graviton particle, every nano micro second it’s discovered it destroys the fabric of reality and sends us all into different branches of dimensional timelines where we all remember different things differently, I found this when hearing about the kit kat choccy bar, it used to be kit-kat not KitKat amongst other things, like star wars C3PO, first it had a silver arm, then leg… Yeah, two different versions which cannot be false memory if it’s been changed twice noticed by a single person as o used to watch it so much I know exactly what it was, fully gold, and the other star wars one is "no Luke, I am your father!" So only thing we can prove is responsible is CERN as it’s the only thing that makes a heap of sense versus everything else, you guys… Why’d you have to use the forks Brew… Why?

  36. House of Tha12thDoctor on July 21, 2020 at 8:45 pm

1:13 "Steen or Stine" that was the argument I remember from my childhood, "Stain" as you say at the end of the video never came into the picture, the kids I grew up with would have undoubtedly had a perverted joke about Bear n’ Stains and I would have had this as memory instead and I do not, because I just made it up. Which proves the more outlandish theories must be true. Which one that I did not hear mentioned is that we are living in a computer simulation like the Matrix.

I dont believe in any supernatural or other alternate dimensions and I can disprove 99% of Mandela effects but there is still 1 that gets me and a ton of other people. How TF has Shazaam never existed. I remember renting that from the video store and no I’m not thinking of Kazam because I remember Kazam coming out later than Shazaam and thinking that it was a rip off of Shazaam.

Monopoly man: mr peanuts, avg rep of a Bourgeosie man, etc Star Wars: obvious standard misinterpretation of phrase in memes or standards discussions across the internet. Berebstain Bears: common German “stein” such as Einstein etc I think the majority of stuff is all based on common interpretations of specific things and then just misremembered based on that

  47. digital trucker on July 21, 2020 at 9:01 pm

I remember news outlets reporting Nelson Mandela dying in prison, and later being surprised when he was elected President of South Africa. This all happened before I ever ran across the internet’s discussion of the Mandela Effect.

I also remember a magazine article from the late ’80s reporting on a newly discovered planet in our solar system on a long elliptical orbit. I remember the article saying "The only thing left is to name it." The article went on to say that official naming would take place when it was visible through optical telescopes; it had only been discovered through radio telescopes. It was supposed to have been visible by now.

There are literally thousands of examples people can point out, many are intentionally done by intelligence agencies and A.I on the net (CERN) purposely altering data, its a form of psychological warfare. Brew is such a half assed middle of the fence sitting type of guy that he’d rather say "EVERYONE" has been brainwashed, rather then actually doing any serious research or investigating. Mentally lazy.
