I have been living out hear for 10 years now and the cell phone reception has been bad the entire time. Any chance of doing a speed test? I’ve heard you need 2 antennas for good lte boost, but most of these boosters only use one antenna. Boosting lte signal is most important to me, I don’t care about boosting cellular signal for calling.

Maybe "Installing a cell phone booster" would have been a better title? And I must say…. only costs $549… ONLY? Is that cheap to you? Waiting on the cell booster to arrive and going to try a big hughesnet dish…. However For tv increase the smaller rods on your antenna and make different antennas for different directions on the same pole @ 4ft apart … I get 66 channels some from hundreds of miles away.
I am glad that it worked for you, but satellite dishes made to catch from the sky so where you put your antenna is not the center of the signal could be better but you want the dish optimal angle pointed at the tower not the sky and antenna pointing same way!

Thanks for showing this! I don’t live "off grid" but I live out in the woods & get maybe 1 bar of signal outside (if I stand on the front porch or walk out in the front yard & hold my phone up until it gets signal). There are zero bars inside so if I need to send a text or make a phone call to report my landline being out (it’s been out for a few weeks now), I have to go outside in the rain to try to get signal.
I’ve been hoping to find a solution that didn’t involve putting wires in to the house from the outside, although I’ve done that in the past– tried all sorts of antennas but nothing ever worked.
Can the cord between the two devices be extended & can they be more than 25 feet apart? I’m seriously thinking of mounting part of this on a fence post outside, running some conduit for the wire underground and then running it under the house & up through the floor somewhere. Although, I wonder if there is something smaller & less expensive that would work.

What makes me mad is I don’t live off the grid, we don’t get cell service and they won’t give us a booster, but they charge us for a service they don’t deliver !
About the same with our TV /internet service. So far out on the limit kept going down because it was burning up some relay thing, they said. Had to go to satellite . Is expensive and very limited time, on internet.

All that is really needed is the WiFi card from a laptop (antenna cables) they fit the antenna port inside all smartphones, one problem is either you’ll have to leave the back of the phone open or drill a hole slightly off center to the antenna plug, both leaves device more prone to water damage, a solution to this is to utilize 2 phones one with cell service arranged with antenna cables, dish and hotspot enabled and use the second as the primary used device. Might be easier to make a video but…..

I live in an underground basement condo in a well populated area. I have a weboost eqo booster, but no roof access, or any other high place I can mount the antenna. I don’t want Wi-Fi nuclear radiation. And I will not tolerate Comcast/Century link billing antics. I know the technology exists for me to get excellent reception in my deadzone condo, but T-Mobile likes to “modernize” their towers (first time when I had METROPCS, and now with T-Mobile). When that happens, run for cover! Because you ain’t going to get no coverage!
So what am I doing right now?Sitting out in the middle of a nuclear high frequency zone parking lot, in order to get good reception,…pending T-Mobile writing a “service ticket“ to try to fix that “modernized“ tower. But the so-called “UNcarrier” does not give a red rats ass. NONE of them do. Therefore, I am not holding my breath!
Question for you……,.So do you also have US CELLULAR for your cell phone server? Just curious if a person needs to buy the booster from the actual server they have their cell phone service with? Cause i tried one of those a few years ago but i had bought it from Radio shack and i dont think it was for any paticular phone server but it sure didnt work worth a crap! I paid about 300.00 for it at the time. Our house burnt down now so thats gone too, and now i finally broke down and went back to a land line cause i had to have a working phone! Wish now there was a way to get FASTER internet from my satelite internet! You have any tricks or ideas or know of anythingnthat works for that? Cause it just PLAIN SUCKS!

Elevate the external antenna as high as you can. It will work better,and try pointing it in different directions.
