Ive done things like this and have barely made a profit worth doing it for and it was a sh!tty pallet compared to this. When you have enough new items and you price it right that’s how you get it to work. Heck! I have sold items @ a gas station when I have the pallet on my trailer. There’s always someone to buy something ya got. Just ask. Hey ya need something you see? I’m not going to have them right here after today. They look and I get a sale. No pressure…it’s just the 3 foot rule. That’s sales. If your into it, then you don’t see it the same way. Its supposed to be FUN!! BTW!

So many commenters have no idea how retail works. Having 50 Bluetooth headset in the lot does not mean they were all sold and returned, many times large stores discontinue selling a product and instead of taking up valuable display space they just get rid of it in lots like he bought. As many have mentioned, most returns are not because it was defective, large retailers are not in the business of selling "open box" goods so they get rid of them to liquidators. Sure, he will take some time testing, listing, etc. But of that is your business, you do what you got to do. His business is not based on just that one pallet, he is working on volume so everything he sells has to get factured into the big picture. So maybe he only males $500 on this pallet, how about the next one and the next one? So don’t be a hater, this guy is self employed and taking a risk just as any person does when having your own business.
I dont know if your pallets ever come from a place on Fulton Industrial. There’s an auction that’s bad about taring down the pallets to repack them. They put PAPER and empty NOTE Binders. And fill it all over it. Some are hidden too. BEWARE FULTON INDUSTRIAL AUCTION of pallet lots. Ill have to look it up and see the name.
If he gets atleast $1 on every product on pallet then thatll be enough to break even right there. Half of those products will sell for more than a $1 which will make a 2X profit
Dude, you are an inspiring person. My dad and me used to in the early 80s go buy storage units in San Jose, Frisco, and all over the Bay. My dad had massive amounts of everything, and was killing it on selling all of it. It’s such a fun business. My grandfather took care of my grandmother as they got older by selling stuff at the fleamarket, I don’t care what anyone says, it’s great. I used to go with my parents and my grandparents all thru the 70s selling and buying stuff at the fleamarkets. it’s a lot of fun and you can make a living and get tons of stuff for free.
