Hello everyone I see a lot of comments on here about people saying that they’re disappointed with their LG washer will I had the 7300 and now I have the 7900 both are excellent they do everything that they said they’re supposed to do the 7900 is humongous but the 7300 was big as well the 7900 has theme effect along with the dryer and that’s an excellent feature very satisfied with these features and the ability other cleaning thank you LG thank you folks out there for listening God bless.

Just as with ‘new’ dishwashers versus the older generations, this machine counts on people not having dirty clothing. Oh, it’ll clean the odor off, but forget it for real dirt. Go to front loader and spend hours waiting for it, or get a traditional top loader. LG pushes these machines for younger people who are distracted with shiny tubs, gameboy control panels and not much experience in laundry.

Disappointed too machine suxx bought brand new 4 months and it’s not working anymore…😪😪

I bought a wash machine TS1365NTP / 01 a year and a half ago and 3 weeks ago we noticed a smoke smell coming from the machine. We contacted the customer service over 2 weeks ago and we do not get our problem solved. Our old machine was also LG and it worked fine over years, but it seems LG products are not what they used to be.

I see alot of people are having issues so hopefully these tips will help.
To start off, make sure you load clothes around the impeller, don’t throw them on top.
When you add detergent you should use only a minimal amount, you should never EVER hit the MAX line in an HE washer.
If your washer is optioned with TurboWash. USE IT!! Trust me, TurboWash is what makes these LG machines so much better than their competition and I would honestly say if your shopping for a washer and it doesn’t have a recirculating pump of sorts, don’t do it. Spend the extra money to get a washer with a TurboWash or similar feature. You won’t regret it.
Although these machines are "bigger" try only loading them as much as you would a normal agitator washer (I don’t know why all these manufacturers have suddenly began making bigger tubs because it honestly hurts washing performance)
Also make sure you’re running Tub Clean once a month and using a washing machine cleaner such as Affresh.
Another tip I have is to ditch using fabric softener. Fabric softener is essentially animal fat that has been scented and while you may not see it, it is reeking havoc on your machines internals. Fabric softener is designed to attach to clothing, but it also attaches to your washers outer tub and drains which over time can cause smells and mold buildup.
    Hope these help!!

This is the exact washer I have with the matching dryer. I’ve never in my life been so disappointed in two expensive machines ever! People ask what all is wrong with this pair and basically to sum it up; everything!

I bought a LG washer and made appointments with then many times to come and look at it because my washer was making noise and they never showed up to my house and made bunch of exuses to why they did not show up……horrible customer service…dont expect anything from their warranty they will never fix it yet come look at it.

  8. LydiaCyan on August 9, 2020 at 8:33 pm

Dont buy top loading LG washer. Read the manual first. If all the rules don’t stop you then read this. The clothes don’t come clean they are still dirty when they come out. If they stink when they go in they stink when they come out. You need water to get clothes clean and there is no adjustment to add extra water. The more you pay the worse these appliances are. All the lint and dog hair that are removed from the clothes come out in the dryer filter not the washer. AWFUL product.

Strange. I got a similar model 3 yrs ago, but why mine spin a slower than the one in the video?
I always doubt why the drum does not spin powerfully. Now I see mine is defected.. but 1 yr warranty expired. =(

Help, I have this washer brand new since March 2017, have cleaned it once a month since, now when with cleaning tub per instructions, my washer stinks, stinks, stinks….what else can I do. New high efficiency washer ad approved by our USA government had their heads in the washer while it was spinning. I’d go back to the old washers as you never had stink and never had to wash the tub, WAS TO SAVE WATER…I use more water now by trying to get the smell out.. HELP!

  11. Hope on August 9, 2020 at 8:36 pm

Awful washer I see suds on clothes and not enough water to wash the detergent off

  12. BobRooney on August 9, 2020 at 8:37 pm

they dont work. thats the problem. you manufacturers have pushed high efficiency washing as a marketing gimmick. my apt building has brand new LG Commercial "HE" washers. after the wash was done, i have to rinse each piece of clothing, because it is so dirty AFTER the wash. i found this out when i still had a water stain on a pair of pants. i put the pair in a white bucket and filled it up with warm water. the water turned greyish black for a pair of pants that i’ve been washing for a year (i’m aware of color leaking out on new clothes, but this was not new)! i had to rinse the pants 3 times, sadly. this is high efficiency? i now go outside to an old laundromat that has real commercial washers that are old and work a million times better.

  13. Dippy Dooo on August 9, 2020 at 8:38 pm

An expensive machine that doesn’t work. I’d would have been better off going to a river and banging my laundry with a rock. How can it be energy efficient when I have to carry gallons of water and try to cover the clothes in the machine? As far as the spin cycle it daintily swooshes the clothes. If there’s a class action law suit sign me up.

  14. Mary Cole on August 9, 2020 at 8:39 pm

I have own one of these machines for right about a year. I HATE IT!!! ITS AN OVER PRICED PIECE OF JUNK!!! Buyer Beware!!! If I want me clothes CLEANED and no white streaks on my dark items, I can only put a few articles in the tub at a time, about half a tub full. It uses more water and electricity then my old front loader maytag because of this. I have tried several tip but still having the same issues. Less detergent, liquid detergent, second rinse, inside out…..no differences!!!! Now in stuck with it.

  15. SoLuscious Soaps on August 9, 2020 at 8:42 pm

Yeah unfortunately I have the same problem. I thought maybe Im putting too much clothes in, but that wasn’t the reason either. Any suggestions how we can make this more likable maybe it needs more water?

  16. Ash Williams on August 9, 2020 at 8:42 pm

How do you remove the cover for cleaning the bleach dispenser?

  17. Recabite Jehonadab on August 9, 2020 at 8:43 pm

Don’t Buy It!! Junk! It’s terrible. All it does is move clothes side to side in a wet clump and sprays a little water on it occasionally.

  18. Laura T on August 9, 2020 at 8:44 pm

2 months old and problems already. Wish I bought Maytag with agitator.

  19. Neli Martinez on August 9, 2020 at 8:44 pm

I have the LG top load machine and I am very disappointed with it. I follow all the instructions and still get lint on my clothes since the first time I used. I will never recommended this machine to anyone.

  20. Cristina T on August 9, 2020 at 8:45 pm

I have this washer the newest model . I like it but I really do miss the old school washers where u can soak your clothes specially whites !!!!

  21. Red on August 9, 2020 at 8:46 pm

I have this same washer and I”m trying to wash dark clothes in cold wash but the water is hot, not cold. Please help

  22. Denise Pfahl on August 9, 2020 at 8:51 pm

Terrible! Do not buy! we have had ours 5 years and it is defunct-you have to babysit the machine and cannot reach the bottom if you are short to retrieve clothing, and for the last 3 years started having problems with: the water sensor is off and water does not cover the clothes, clothes not clean, does not balance properly and the machine stops with the UE light on and have to keep shifting the load manually, keeps refilling and rinsing and wont stop-water bill high as a result!
Pros: the look of the machine is beautiful and modern, the controls on top and right in front (no reaching across the machine), no agitator to twist clothes up; window to see what the load is doing.
Very disappointed as I really thought this design would offer so much more than our old machine. The bugs in this machine need to be worked out! THIS MACHINE SHOULD BE RECALLED WITH PRORATED REFUNDS depending upon use and years owned.

You know that a company’s products are bad when they use a dented appliance in their promo.

    Sorry for my poor English…
I made so much research after we exchanged our Maytag washer bravo XL for this one (I had before for 14 years the American classic… manual with agitator).
I am super picky person, I have no idea for how long this LG washer will last, but so far I am satisfied with it. There is not perfect product these days! Samsung wasn’t the option for soooo many bed reviews, I didn’t like Maytag Bravo XL. But I did like the dryer, although 8.8 CU was huge.
Back to this LG washer…No issues here with low water or dirty clothes after washing. I pre soak dirty clothes, or also do extra rinse.
If I will have a man who comes home from work with extremely dirty clothes…or children with extremely dirty clothes…then I would choose a good washer with agitator.
With this LG, if you aren’t satisfied for some reason with level of the water…here is a trick…add one basket of water top of the dry clothes before washing, you will fool the sensor, and it should give you more water in the drum.
I was NOT satisfied with the LG dryer! It had sensory issues and stopped cycle sometimes over and over again. It took long time to get dry certain clothes.
It has overall bed rewies. Cracked drum, sensor issues….
So.. I wanted Electrolux… highly recommended by my friend’s and my sister…but Best Buy doesn’t have them…So I got Maytag with steamer👌🏻

I am so disappointed paid 800. plus for this machine and my clothes are dirty. I have a person who is disabled and has a problem with incontinence I have to wash their clothes 4 to 5 times to get the smell out and feel that they are clean. The agitator has come off three times and a repairman has had to fix it. LG has had good appliances but this is not one of them. I am tempted to go buy the cheapest whirlpool with a real agitator and get rid of this one….sad… my maytag lasted 20 years I should have fixed it for 200.00 dollars and been money ahead and clean clothes

Hey there. Can u please help me on my new lg toplaod washing machine???

  28. Joshua Graham on August 9, 2020 at 9:03 pm

We just purchased an LG steam washer and dryer set from Sears in 2010. Yes we have going through a couple repairs. just a couple of days ago. We noticed that on The spin cycle, that it’s not seeming to spin very well. We took them out of the washer and they were dripping soaking wet. Yes talking about the clothes them selves, we had put them in the dryer and we had to run the dryer twice. Once this wash machine and the dryer set goes up, I will be looking for an old school grandma Kenmore set from the early 70s or the early 80s, or looking for a speed queen. Will be the last step we will ever buy from LG or Samsung or whirlpool or Maytag. We even have to run the washer when the speed wash cycle at night since it’s a lot cheaper, how is this high-efficiency?? This will be the last time we will ever buy or even own high-efficiency appliances again.

We can blame these companies but it was CONGRESS and OBAMA and the enviro-whackos that pushed these strict water and energy appliance laws. These appliance companies can’t do ANYTHING. Their hands are tied. We have to start learning to hand wash laundry again.

    Hey I have a question
    What is the steam for?

  31. Panda Digital Love on August 9, 2020 at 9:07 pm

Bought the 2015 model , after year 5 it’ll go bonkers and keep cycling/wasting water non stop.

  32. Janice & David Ellis on August 9, 2020 at 9:09 pm

I own this LG WaveForce washing machine, and it began rusting at the bleach dispenser within six months of purchase. The rust has only gotten worse and worse, even though I always leave the lid open after I’m finished using the washer to allow residual moisture to evaporate. The issue seems to be a metal coating manufacturing flaw that the company has neither acknowledged nor fixed. Thousands of consumers have commented about their rusting, relatively new LG washers, but LG has not rectified the issue for them, nor for me. I understand there is now a class action lawsuit against LG, and I completely understand why. I will never buy another LG product, not because they made a mistake, but because they have denied responsibility and have not fixed their mistake.

  33. chnalvr on August 9, 2020 at 9:11 pm

Does anyone really love the cleaning efficiency of these LG top loaders?

  34. Banzai Buckeroo on August 9, 2020 at 9:14 pm

bought one. mistake. unless u like standing on your head to get the clothes out of the machine. very poor design

  36. Kristy F on August 9, 2020 at 9:17 pm

Bought a 7800 washer & dryer 2 weeks ago. Awful!!! The first one was so loud and made every noise imaginable and the motor sounded like it was dying. Today, (2 wks later) they brought a replacement. It’s just as loud!! And what’s with the clink sound during operation? It’s not my pipes – it’s the washer itself. It sounds like a hammer on metal. There constant noise during the entire operation. Annoying!
I’m gonna return it and buy another GE with an agitator and no fancy electrical panel. My last GE lasted 20 hrs and it wasn’t as loud as this one. Pretty doesn’t always mean reliable

  37. Gina Gian on August 9, 2020 at 9:19 pm

not buying it! (well, sadly, already did!) The face there isn’t enough water in the tub means my clothes are NOT cleaned well. I’m disappointed in this machine. I don’t recommend.

  38. Abdelkader Elbachir on August 9, 2020 at 9:21 pm

I really did have high hopes for this one but I don’t anymore if you are the kind of person who washes small loads everyday this is the washer from you but other than that this washer struggles with big loads and that defeats the purpose of having a big drum in the first place

  39. Lunar Dream on August 9, 2020 at 9:22 pm

in the inside of the washer at the bottom mine came off now I have what looks like a hub cap sitting in my washer I am pissed since my washer isn’t that old!!

  40. Tara on August 9, 2020 at 9:23 pm

Where can I get the detergent and bleach inserts for the lg top load washer WT1. Cheapest parts

  41. sirgregory1st on August 9, 2020 at 9:23 pm

I wanted it to work so much and I believed these commercials and thought "people were just not doing it correctly or not reading instructions" but the reality of the fact is I regret it now. Clothes often come out dry in spots (even on deep water setting) and more than 1 out of 4 come out with detergent spots still on the clothes. Whoever came up with the "new technology" it talks about in this video is/was incompetent. (probably fired by now.. I hope)

  42. Designer Appliances on August 9, 2020 at 9:23 pm

This is great! We have an indepth video of top load vs front load washers on our channel, check it out and subscribe 🙂

  43. Neon on August 9, 2020 at 9:23 pm

it’s far better than our old maytag, the clothes actually smell clean and you don’t have to spend time readjusting everything

  44. freedom4kaz on August 9, 2020 at 9:24 pm

By watching this demonstration on how your washer works, anyone with a "REAL" job where they actually get dirt on their clothes; this machine would never get those clothes items clean. Perhaps in you had a desk job or something of the such, while working in a clean environment, sure, it’ll clean your clothes. However, those clothes aren’t really dirty to begin with. Anyone who does physical labor, like construction, landscape, package handler, machinist, factory worker, plumber, electrician, or builder; these trade workers clothes would never come clean in this sissy style, gentle on your clothes, so called, washing machine.
