Have you tried to use your phone to mirror to the radio? Or usb?
My touchscreen is not moving or working but it comes on and functions just fine but the screen does not want to function how it needs to function when you touch it.
I install and do custom installs all I did was took it out the box a couple times to test fit a couple things in this custom project now the screen doesn’t want to work like it supposed too.
Is it normal for the blue light that says dual to remain on when the stereo is turned off?

observation: asking nicely about the "trim ring". It looks like you left it off guessing due to clearance for the flipping up striking. We are building 100% custom on a lower console but hate the head unit being out exposed. The Walmart trim kits are not designed for flip up – -unless I missed the version for flip out.
Does it have android auto?
You know how to make it stay always open?
Can I get Google maps on it for GPS and have it on the screen?

I try to put this stereo in my truck but it turns on and off and the screen won’t work and the screen moves up and down what can that cause that
I want to get this but not of its has problems..
The major CON of this system is there’s no display when the screen is closed on the control face even with the radio on tested at Wal-Mart display. Trying to have mine (xdvd179bt) install for my 2012 RAM and i come back for future comments about this system.
For ur dash what sizes did u put for the stereo to fit if it’s original or like custom size
Man can u tell me where or how they hooked the amp up …… I went through 2 of them and ended up having to get a cheap dsp
