i live in delhi . i purchased this machine on amazon .worked fine for a year . after 13 months it started showing weight jumps , took it to mi service centre they refused to accept the paid service also and stated that these mi weight machines cant be repaired. then i took it to local repair guy , who said that mi weight scale spare parts are not available in entire delhi . complete waste of rs 2000.

I have the scale and I’m trying to figure out how do use the numbers it gives me to create a better meal plan… I really like it it’s just a little confusing. I wish there was a video on explaining the numbers you get every time you step on the scale and how to use that to manage your weight. Great video though Bravo

Seems it’d be great for single folk, but who in their right mind wants to have other people’s fitness profiles on their personal phone. Can you see a family of 7 girls all using dad’s phone to monitor their body comp stats every day… nightmare. Fitbit Aria syncs over the web, via WiFi, then populates the results to whomever’s profile is linked to the device, or the results show as Guest. Sure, dad would still have to invite each family member to link to the family scale, but he’d only have to do that once, then each person with a profile could manage their own data; and privately.
I’d have bought this to replace my Fitbit Aria, I’m not happy with Fitbit in general, but my wife would need to be able to access her details independant of me, at least after a one time setup. I’ve had the Aria for several years, we both use it regularly, guests can use it on the fly, and I only had to mess with multi-user setup that one time, years ago. There’s certainly no, "honey, can I borrow your phone to weigh myself?"
Xiaomi seems to have really messed up that aspect of this device, otherwise it seems cool. If I were single I’d definitely switch over from Aria.
