The entire preinstalled filter idea is idiotic because it forces you to actively choose that you wan’t your rights, instead of choosing that you want to give them up.

Shielding and blindfolding your children is not parental supervision, it is abuse. That isn’t what I was talking about when it comes to parents being involved in the lives of their children during the younger ages. There are no harms from pornography. You mentioned social, educational, and (very importantly) economic problems and erroneously claimed they were caused by pornography and prostitution. My contention is you seem to think this due to an unnatural delicacy you’ve placed upon sex.

Putting it up on a pedestal is either arbitrary or religious distancing of it from the performers and is wrong.

I may be intruding with my limited scope on a conversation but I wanted to respond. Pornography is a result of decreased respect for long term monogamy, not a cause. Attenuating the desire in humans to procreate is extremely valuable on this overpopulated planet. Any opportunity to undermine "traditional values" is worth supporting from my POV. "Traditional values" destroy societies if not constantly questioned and fought against.
