4th grade math on Khan Academy: 4th grade is the time to start really fine-tuning your arithmetic skills. Not only will you be a multi-digit addition and subtraction rockstar, but you’ll extend the multiplication and division that you started in 3rd grade to several digits. You’ll also discover that you sometimes have something left over (called a “remainder”) when you divide. In 3rd grade you learned what a fraction is. Now you’ll start adding, subtracting, multiplying, and comparing them. You’ll also see how they relate to decimals. On other fronts, you’ll learn how to convert between different units (which is super important when comparing the size and speed of robot unicorns in different countries) and continue your journey thinking about various shapes in two dimensions. Some of the foundational concepts of geometry (like lines, rays and angles) also get introduced. As always, we’ll round this out with a healthy dose of applied word problems and explorations of number patterns and properties (including the ideas of factors, multiples and prime numbers). The fun must not stop! (Content was selected for this grade level based on a typical curriculum in the United States.)

The American School system makes me feel so smart, most of these subjects I’ve learned it two grades before.
wow that make me happy put a like if u like what she doing
Oh I get it
im in 5th grade my theacher told me to whatch this for shcool -_-
I still don’t get it, for some reason I cannot understand any math. Right now we are learning Input’s and Outputs and my teacher recommended you to me. I’ve practiced and watched your videos over and over, nothing seems to be working… You’ve helped me a bit and I really appreciate that though.
what about 30 times 7.
so basically we have to break up the 4,7 and turn the ten place into a ten then just multiple the numbers but, first start with 4 times 7 which is 28 then with the two zeros in the two tens you add that to 28 and it becomes 2800. since i had to watch this i already knew it. but, not using tens. thank you for your help aganin
It helped me a lot for fourth grade
Too ezzz
Really!!!! That’s thousands steps to get the results you making my kids confused!!!! All we need put the two zeros out and 4 times 7 which 28 it’s just two steps
This helped me so much thankyou
Why did I learn this in 1st grade?
the easiest way to do it is by taking the tens and multiplying it for example the answer was 45 so we add the 2 zeros our answer would be 4500… this only works for numbers that end with zeros…
I’m in 5th grade I dont even know 7×4 I need help I have to count but nothing is helping
280
An easier way is 7×4=28 and then you just add the to zeros next to the other numbers
This helps me so much
