The "Family Room" with the wood paneling and the wooden tv console IS how houses looked in the 80s. The kids room looked like how they want to show the 80s for someone who didn’t grow up in then. IMO…

Sega went down so Microsoft could step in. Xbox is the lasting legacy of Sega consoles.
    Also, you guys are dope!

Love that place! There is a restaurant not that far from there called Nerdvana (I think). They have gaming systems at the tables so you can eat, drink and game.

On the micro computers here in uk which were basically mostly for games they had many horror or like that games . It had what was kinda the first survival horror and we got a evil dead game and multiple Friday the 13th games not to mention some rocky horror games.

Very cool did they have any uk vintage computers? .
We never got the sega channel here or anything like that . But I do know that atari did the sega channel thing back in the early 80s allowing you to play games but yeah it failed . Similar thing happened to the Nintendo famicom (Japanese nes) they had a keyboard etc and could connect to a network to check stocks etc . I think the sega channel was the only way you could play golden axe 3 in the west .

Looks like an incredible setup here. The info for all the consoles and then having the controllers and variants there is great. The family room and bedroom setups are groovy touches.
Something to Do At Grandma’s House is a classic game. lol Sega was totally all too often ahead of their time. Even with the Sega Channel they beat out Nintendo’s Satellaview service by nearly a year.
Love seeing the Atari horror games–that is so cool. The Mario McDs toys were so cool–they used to have the best toys!

I had sega channel as a kid. We didn’t have a computer but I know it was a service through our cable company. I loved it. Every month there was a new lineup of games. They also had monthly contest giveaways. They had cool prizes that I hoped I’d win but never did
