Apple more expencive because you pay the company not the parts in them. It all comes from one or similar factory.

When comparing a PC to a Apple laptop or an iMac, people always forget to add the price of the monitor + keyboard + mouse. The PC build + monitor and mouse would still be cheaper but not that much.
I know this is a year old but I’m feeling pretty proud that the computer I ordered meets all but one of these suggestions (less storage). Thanks!

Pretty much it’s just preference I edit videos and game. So as you would expect I prefer Windows Pc. If i wasn’t a gamer I would most likely use Mac

Software wise they are the same. ( Final Cut is crap ).

So I you were to prioritize what items to upgrade first, how would your list of priorities look like? Camera (currently using my iPhone 8s), editing software (currently using iMovie), coputer hardware (currently using a MacBook 2016), light (currently using a DIY setup with work-lamps and natural lights), Audio (currently using a Røde NT-USB Studio Microphone). The videos I make are simple educational videos of me sitting in front of the camera talking about nutrition. I would like to include more B-roll going forwards.

always been a pc guy since a kid but finally making the switch to a mac. I really dislike the new windows layout after XP. Not to mention all the crashes & viruses.

Now how many GB SSD internal do you think is smart to get? 256gb or 512gb and get a higher number gb external hard drive? Dont know if i said it all right haha im not that educated in computers

Good info. Music is annoying.
Problem is that for design some of the best in class software is Mac only like Sketch and Hype. Sketch is way better for App and Web design than Adobe. As a programmer I would recommend Linux, Ubuntu distro, but you can run that in a virtual machine on any host operating system. For gaming PC dominates due to network effects, everyone targets it because it is the biggest market gamers. My advice is get a Desktop PC and a Mac for a laptop.
You talk more bout apple then any other cpu!
