Have you published the Linux version of this video already?

  3. Follower of Pooh on June 12, 2020 at 6:40 pm

Peakago is really trying to market this trash. This is just a rebrand One Mix 1S Yoga.

You can buy Lenovo Ideapad D330 with better processors at the same or cheaper price.

  4. Evalyn on June 12, 2020 at 6:40 pm

    Does it support 5ghz WiFi?

  5. Hélio Giroto on June 12, 2020 at 6:40 pm

    Does it run Linux??

  6. Javier Fernandez on June 12, 2020 at 6:41 pm

What did you say? $369? Hmm… How about a Surface instead? I think you got ripped off.

  7. infopackrat on June 12, 2020 at 6:41 pm

So can it run Crysis? That’s before 2011

  8. Derek Foulk on June 12, 2020 at 6:46 pm

This would be good for hacking hotspots in your car, also good old games, steam, etc. Heck you could even game on this in the bathroom.

  9. Robert M on June 12, 2020 at 6:47 pm

What kind of battery life are you getting

  10. joseph bustos on June 12, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Yes Linux. Can’t wait. What distro?

  11. 4-UP on June 12, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Add Ubuntu to that little beast💪🏿💪🏿🛡✊🏿👍🏿

  12. GenuineArticle71 on June 12, 2020 at 6:49 pm

    can it handle Photoshop?

  13. memr on June 12, 2020 at 6:51 pm

Yeah, this neglection of scrolling issues by the manufacturers is really annoying. I’d even prefer to have a scroll wheel rather than all the mouse control they put there. I mean, look: using a mouse is shit, let’s admit it. This input device is universal, but like any universal solution, it fails when it comes to specific tasks, and it fails so hard with scrolling that they had to invent a scrolling wheel ON the mouse. So this is actually BIG. It’s not like you can just brush it off and hope everybody will be happy scrolling with touchscreen. I don’t like to tap, and I especially don’t like to swipe, because it will make it oily even more than a tap. If I’d want to tap and swipe, I’d buy me an iPad, goddamitt! So that’s the end of this model for me.

  14. Datamagnetics on June 12, 2020 at 6:51 pm

can we use it our development purpose?

I bought a GPD P2 Max which is so a tiny laptop, I absolutely love it. I can’t imagine life without it now.

  17. Notorious_BSc on June 12, 2020 at 6:59 pm

Dunno if this one of their more recent updates, but the pro without G4 is actually rocking a Pentium N4200, instead of of the z8350; which should be significantly more capable (and possibly capable of some decent retro gaming 🙂 )

  18. Dan Burk on June 12, 2020 at 6:59 pm

I like how you compare this to something like the GPD win, and even mention the keyboard, you simply have to type at a different pace. But people have been using software buttons so. I had the first GPD win, wish I just stuck with it. It was really good though it lacked some key buttons making it kind of moot for certain things. That little nub this is similiar to the blackberry, it is very doable. Lower the resolution scale and it will work. The only limiting factor is WASD, I am so used to that, have you tried WASD for maybe a classic game were you move.

Only 128MB of MMC? My Commodore 64 got more than that….

  20. TheKeule33 on June 12, 2020 at 7:04 pm

I hate having to pay for this trash operating system when the first thing I’d do is install linux

  21. shaider1982 on June 12, 2020 at 7:05 pm

Reminds me of my tablet/raspbery pi setup.

  22. freaker126 on June 12, 2020 at 7:06 pm

you know with this little laptop, you can use Microsoft Your phone companion and mirror your phone on the screen. Or, if you have a Samsung phone that have Samsung dex capability, you can basically turn it into an android computer.

  23. Jasdeep Kaur on June 12, 2020 at 7:06 pm

Can we install apps in it??🤔

  24. unglaubich uberlieber on June 12, 2020 at 7:07 pm

you show the laptop, with win on it, so can this laptop boot from usb drive???

  25. Doctor G on June 12, 2020 at 7:09 pm

Do you have any contact information for the people who gave this to you for review? Those of us who backed it and have no product six months on would very much like to get in touch with the maker who is not responding to requests for updates after several months. Of course we understand there’s a pandemic going on but we’d like some indication we will get the product at some point.

8 gb should be the standart in 2019(almost 2020)

  27. Damon Barber on June 12, 2020 at 7:11 pm

  33. xybersurfer on June 12, 2020 at 7:15 pm

would have liked if they put some thought into what happens, when the battery eventually fails

  34. Big Desu on June 12, 2020 at 7:15 pm

Be great to run Stadia on

  35. Aniel Rivera on June 12, 2020 at 7:19 pm

i would love a little device like that if it had a 13 or 15 with a decent onboard graphix cpu for light gaming and would not mind paying more for it and i use to own a gpd pocket 2 but gave to my niece she loves those little mobile games

  36. richie1326 on June 12, 2020 at 7:22 pm

Errmmm, wouldn’t a device like this be better if it came with a Linux install from the start? I mean, just in terms of resource usage alone, but of course all the other things too, like managing win update….
My first thought when I saw it was, what a great little device for coding/scripting on the go, heh? Perfect for python or whatever you like.
You didn’t mention how long it took to boot, cos those eMMC cards are not exactly quick are they?
I do find this device very interesting, and appealing, and could have quite happily sat through a much longer and more detailed review.
How do you know that the BIOS firmware is going to play nice with Linux?
    Thanks Don!! 👍👍

  37. RmFrZQ on June 12, 2020 at 7:23 pm

Lack of Ethernet port makes it unusable for me. Also down-side of devices with eMMC drive is low lifespan and you can’t replace it in case of failure.
It is basically a smartphone with attached keyboard, build up from previous generation smartphone components. Hardly worth more than $100.

  38. Witness ProPro on June 12, 2020 at 7:23 pm

This would be great as a Android laptoptablet with an Arm processor for increased battery life.

  39. Paco Cervantes on June 12, 2020 at 7:26 pm

You not have one program for download miusic in the laptop?

  40. Steve on June 12, 2020 at 7:29 pm

This is more or less the AtomicPi made into a UMPC here are the processor specs https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/atom_x5/x5-z8350. Same processor and specs , if anyone is really interested in it’s performance , ETAprime may have done a few more tests then Don did @ the time everyone was reviewing the AtomicPi. I wanted to buy it until the company showed their greed and bumped it up from $35 to $55 , price gouging . It was so obvious too, right after YOU and ETA did a video the $ went ↑↑↑ 😡. The chip isn’t all bad though , for productivity tasks like Word Processing and basic applications its just fine running Windows. Linux would be optimal. A lot of times with tech your buying the brand , just like clothing , but what is a PEAKAGO 🤔 … off brand, right.. So with items like this I like to break down exactly whats inside/outside and see if it is being sold at the correct price point. The only plus is that you can run x86_64 operating systems and applications , and your not locked down into a mobile OS. I like that there is no shortage of ports , I especially like the OTG for tethering a Raspberry Pi. Viewers should re-watch the AtomicPi video to get an idea of what to expect video wise , and what operating systems work best with the Intel Atom Cherry Trail x5-z8350 .

It’s made for people who want to play visual novels and Nekopara on the go.

  46. ohdannyboy1974 on June 12, 2020 at 7:32 pm

Nice form factor, but the Atom doesn’t cut it in this day and age. I’m waiting for the AMD Ryzen with the GpdWin2+.

  47. Maximilian Cooke on June 12, 2020 at 7:33 pm

I just dropped the ball on the 2 in 1 version of the dell Inspiron 11 and now I’m kinda regretting it! Haha. This looks like this would be more fun.

  48. ginsengjin on June 12, 2020 at 7:34 pm

I used to own a 13 in and 12 inch laptop because of the portability…. The small screen size was too much strain on my eyes especially if you use a computer for most of the day. I personally find 14 inch screens to be the most perfect size but will not go any smaller than that. Many cheap 14 inch laptops are very thin these days. Please think about your eyes in the future and don’t get this unless you have a really specific reason why you need anything smaller than a 14 inch.
