one reason you may have trouble negotiating is that you are obviously looking items up to resell. They are much less likely to work with you if they know you are making money off the stuff.

I could never do what Rabbit is doing because I have so very little knowledge of video games, play systems, cell phones, etc. I haven’t played video games in probably 30 years. I think we had an Atari system and then another cheap game system. My brother had something called Tank Battle. Anyway, I’m lost in the past when I could put quarters or tokens in a machine to play Pac Man or Ms Pac Man, Asteroids and so on. I don’t even know where to begin now to play video games. I probably can’t afford it and it is probably a very expensive hobby. So at least I’m not dumping cash on gaming systems and games.

What do you do when all you have is a creepy scuzzy Salvation Army which NEVER NEVER gives a customer the time of day?! I would swear to you that just about every item in the store is the equivalent of an listed Ebay item on its 50th bid! Like a beat-up 400 watt Bose Power Mixer listed for 100.00! What do you do then friend? I want to quit my Wally job and work for myself but I can’t!
Planet Houston isn’t the place I’d go for decent flea markets but then again a lot of the flea markets in Texas end up with a lot of the same kind of stuff from vendors, Lots of cheap wholesale crap from China and a lot of Mexican crappola.

Worst thing to do: wear an out of state sports shirt while trying to haggle. Sellers will immediately cut you down on emotional status, that is why you couldn’t get it down to $40. If you wore a Texans shirt, I think you would’ve got it.

Some of these vendors are morons!!! Turns down offers on items that will get packed away in a tote and collect dust! People go to flea markets to negotiate and buy items at a "fair" price for both parties!!!!!
