Robby made that beautiful move and she had the will to win authentic could not intimidate her because she felt her jockeys desperation to prove himself again and together they went the distance

This announcer is good until the last 50 yards. Guy can’t even call the winner when it is clearly Swiss Skydiver. He blew up the Beholder Breeders cup race when he tripped over his words, Called Discreet Image instead of Discreet Lover in the 2018 Jockey Club Gold Cup, and made no mention of Maximum Security taking out War of Will and a couple other horses in the derby.Colmus and Trevor Denman are good everyday race callers but spit the bit on Championship days.

The FIX was Definitely in shameful
BB bitching again! The Filly on the Ragozin sheets was the fastest horse in the race! She saved ground the whole way, Robbie took it to Authentic at the 3/8th pole and never quit!
Tough filly! She deserved that win.

I love the physical contrast between the principals. Authentic is big and rangy, while Swiss Skydiver is a little ball of muscle. And of course, in situations like this, everyone roots for the filly.
I couldn’t choose between the boys so I picked the filly. Sure glad I did!

Congrats to swiss happy for her and also authentic came ready into this race but I did not think he had the stamina to run her down since he took the early led Swiss kept a good pace on the rail and she would not let him get past her
Great stretch duel. She’s got a lot of talent. Only 2/5ths off of Secretariat’s record run. Will she run the Breeder Distaff or the Breeder Classic.

Second fastest Preakness EVER. And the announcers barely talked about her leading up to the race. Nine races this year, five wins including the Preakness, two seconds, one third, out of the money once. Talk about underrated. Best 3-year-old filly since Rachel Alexandra. It also says something is wrong with the points system that it took a freaky year for another filly to be allowed in a classic–and she wins.
Collmus is terrible. It was so clearly the filly! She deserved the call! And yet he hesitated because he’s screwed up so many calls before.
