Those Ebay heads look like they started out better just in the casting. Adds validity/believability to those numbers you found. Looking forward to seeing you get a set of heads together and into one of your projects.
Aren’t pro Comp heads the same thing as a generic eBay heads? That’s where I bought my pro Comp heads for about $422 brand new plus shipping! And they definitely needed a lot of work!
Can you post the ebay part#, I’m going to be rebuild my boat engine and want to go aluminum heads. Thank you for showing a real life comparisons!!!
Wow that procomp intake port is Garbage!
Are these equivalent to the 540 dollar assembled AT racing world eBay heads? Just ordered a set for a tow rig hoping the are decent. Planning to swap the springs bc I china springs lose pressure
Unless their quality has significantly increased……pro comp or whatever you call them are crap. Everything they make is as cheap as they possibly can. There is no such thing a QC with them.
I’m dynoing my 383 stroker tomorrow with the 3003 pro comp head
my advice is, Keep the one on the right, send the rest back. There is no comparison between the two. The one on the right is the best quality low budget mass produced product, cylinder head on the market period.
Those "eBay" heads are proheader castings. They are a dart Platinum copy. A dart cnc program will make it a great head. Those proheader heads are way way better. They are sold as nkb200 heads by Skip White, and they are also called "assault racing heads". The easiest way to tell that they are not the junk procomp/speed master is looking at the deck if they are assembled. Chad Sphieir used them as his economy head and they work great. Buy them bare and put good parts in them. Also, the intake port is raised .100" over stock in the proheader castings. I ported my Victor Jr to match the raised runner. A felpro 1205 works well to port match with with the stock Victor Jr port. It opened it up a lot.
I brought a pair of pro com heads an they are cnc ported with 202 160 valves an I can’t figure out what headers to buy ,. Can you help…
Those aren’t eBay heads they’re proheader. Knock offs of dart pro 1. Much better head than the procomp. These are the same heads blueprint uses on their crate engines.
