Thanks for the video. Where is the linked buying guide?
Great takeaway, only buy package if you like the features.
Thank you for these excellent videos! Really informative.
Quality and function are more important than looks. After a thorough investigation into the appliances you need; pick the best ones within your budget. Then ask for a package price from the retailer. You may buy a new set of kitchen appliances (fridge, range, dishwasher, freezer, microwave) from different manufacturers, but you select your quality with a discount price.
With the shortages of some appliance brands during the pandemic do you think package incentives will still be offered this year. I appreciate knowing "when to buy". I am ready but will wait until Memorial Day if you think it will still be beneficial. Thanks.
Any suggestions on where to buy the appliances from? Home Depot or Lowes or directly the manufacturer?

Generally it is a bad idea to buy an appliance package. Doing so almost always ensures you get one or maybe two good appliances and a bunch of mediocre ones. Sure they may look slightly more uniform but what’s the point if they don’t effectively fulfill their central function. Nearly al manufacturers do somethings really well and many others poorly. Bosch makes great dishwashers and induction cookers but their gas ranges are poor as were their refrigerators until very recently. Buy the best of each appliance that fits within your budget. I bought a Bluestar range, Miele dishwasher, and a GE Cafe refrigerator. They all look great together and all do a very good job at their core function.
