  2. Joe Reain on July 28, 2020 at 8:06 pm

  3. Kel Raphiel on July 28, 2020 at 8:06 pm

  4. منوعات مكس on July 28, 2020 at 8:08 pm

u bought for 200 $ and u want it to fit like 2000$ headers ? cut the edge and install

  5. sexiewasd on July 28, 2020 at 8:09 pm

ebay headers can usually be made to work. I haven’t seen any yet that fit perfectly without some tweaking. In this case I’d probably send them back too.

  6. cruz on July 28, 2020 at 8:09 pm

Wow, engine is coming out great!! Thanks for the advice..I will go ahead and ignore the cheap asian parts from eBay/Amazon lol

  7. Jesse Aldo on July 28, 2020 at 8:12 pm

Put the damn gasket on bro. And you have enough clearance done.

  8. whats really going on on July 28, 2020 at 8:15 pm

    heat it and beat it

  9. Alan Burkett on July 28, 2020 at 8:17 pm

If you’re using an aftermarket mid pipe from sve of something, I think it will work with the headers. The socket does not extend all the way over the ball connection on the header. All you need it to do is form  a seal. Also, If you haven’t done so already, RTV the front and rear oil pan seal. I just did my swap and I didn’t put a thin bead over where the rear main is and it’s the only spot where the pan leaks. good luck and happy building!

Man, whatever happened to the V6 drift build? It was like Part 9 and then nothing.

  11. NTH Welding on July 28, 2020 at 8:17 pm

I bought these cheap headers. The flange bolts dont line up and mine also hit the block. Cheap crap, but what do you expect for $65

  12. Marcel Rohde on July 28, 2020 at 8:18 pm

why not ..my 65$ Ebay shortys worked and fitted perfekt… but dont think they make any HP ..same like the originals just a bit nicer to look….but for the Mustangs .the way to go are Longtubes …

  13. Chris Tragedia on July 28, 2020 at 8:18 pm

So. When they hit or are to far.. there is this thing called heads with angle plugs or not angle plugs. They aren’t crappy. They are the wrong ones . And everything is made in China ..

  14. Rick V on July 28, 2020 at 8:20 pm

Your links took me to mustang parts and dog shit. You need to check that out lol

I have had my stainless eBay BBC headers for 4 years plus and not one issue yet on a 13 to 1 496 . Fitment was perfect . Turbo headers work really well at people on eBay like CX racing make a good product .

  17. robert white on July 28, 2020 at 8:25 pm

Old saying. . You get what you pay for..

  18. Kent C. Reed on July 28, 2020 at 8:27 pm

Did you think about the gasket? you did not put one on to fit it. Also you could use 2 gaskets.AND OF CORSE A LITTLE GRINDING WON’T HURT ANYTHING

  19. Paul Casarez on July 28, 2020 at 8:28 pm

i got a name brand header and i had to cut the 2 center tubs out and fliped them to clear the stearing box

  20. Life with The Hampton’s on July 28, 2020 at 8:29 pm

I just received BBK Shorty’s for my 331 Stroker and they are Junk too. They are suppose to be 1 5/8" ID with a 2 1/2" Collector. BUT the headers are welded to the flange on the inside. This is ridiculous, due to the internal welds most of the ports are only 1 1/4"- 1 1/2".. So now I will have to weld the outside of the headers to the flange and grind all the junk welds out of the inside. A ton of work and money to spend that I thought I was saving with these $200 Headers.

  21. Jeff May on July 28, 2020 at 8:29 pm

I bought a set of stainless shortys just like that about 8 years ago off ebay for $89 I believe I just said what the heck and took a chance on them and they were awesome. They fit like a glove and made great power. Sux you had bad luck out of those..

  22. Larry Johnson on July 28, 2020 at 8:34 pm

The thick Hooker Headers gaskets should pull that away from the block.

  23. Mitchy Mitch on July 28, 2020 at 8:37 pm

I dont understand people like you…

  24. xZombiexHunterx on July 28, 2020 at 8:38 pm

my experience with buying headers on ebay was sort of good and bad the first set i bought they didnt arrive until 4 weeks later so i bought another set that were machined quite well all except a hold that made it impossible to put a bolt through but i took a 1/2" drill bit and drilled it wider and it fit on perfectly. i think the hardware they gave me was a 3/8 bolt when it was suppose to be a 5/16 bolt so i had to tap and die all the holes on the heads to 3/8 to me that made the headers stay on better and the bolts didn’t come loose as easily. i still have those other headers that arrive later and the seller on ebay doesn’t seem to care to want them back so ebay just refunded me my money after fighting tooth and nail with them lol

  25. Player 1 on July 28, 2020 at 8:39 pm

    notch it…. problem solved….

  26. Black Sheep on July 28, 2020 at 8:39 pm

If you felt like it, could you have heated it up and bent it out?

  27. Vulgar Hyena on July 28, 2020 at 8:47 pm

This is a normal occurence with any brand or quality headers. Bolt them up and wedge your porta-a-power in there and tweak them. Have to say more so than not I have had to do this to most headers. Or you could be a hack and scratch up and discolor them by beating and heating (not the correct way)

  28. J H on July 28, 2020 at 8:47 pm

That’s the risk in buying cheap universal parts. Just make sure the return policy is solid in case things don’t fit. I’m glad he didn’t cut it up and beat it to force it to fit. Not worth it in my opinion if you can just return or swap for the right part.

  29. jacob bartlett on July 28, 2020 at 8:50 pm

Wtf does everybody who have a mustang, have to buy the most expensive parts it can by for the car, and call every thing else “junk”, don’t you realize it’s the same shit just branded??

  30. Brian Heaton on July 28, 2020 at 8:51 pm

    Bend that shit

  31. cburford on July 28, 2020 at 8:52 pm

Just pick up some bbk shorties for cheap. People always selling them from $40-100, my fox sounds great with them

  32. Art Life on July 28, 2020 at 8:52 pm

long tubes will fix that usually..my DNA 123 dollar Amazon headers work fine and sound great…NOTE..always use Percys gaskets with these headers to make sure you dont have any sealing issues, always.

  33. Beau Amoureux on July 28, 2020 at 8:53 pm

Firstly, there’s no reason to pay more than $250 for shorty headers for any car! Secondly, header fitment issues are one of the most common problems known to anyone who’s modified a car. Thirdly, there are multiple solutions to ALL automobile-related setbacks! People who piss and bitch about small things like needing to modify aftermarket parts shouldn’t try to mod their own cars! #Simple

  34. XV Jango on July 28, 2020 at 8:55 pm

my flowtech headers for my s10 fit pretty well and decently cheap I got them for 200

  35. your mom! on July 28, 2020 at 8:56 pm

Mine fit great on my silverado 5.3 and i also bought a exhaust system and saved a crap load of money. The throttle response is way better now. Did i gain power and torque ? Probably a little. Gas milage is slightly better and it sounds way better.

  36. Brendan Mccabe on July 28, 2020 at 8:59 pm

Can never go wrong with bbk

  37. Joe Reain on July 28, 2020 at 8:59 pm

What a shame tonot paint that block while it was apart before getting new freeze plugs!!!!

  38. DinoXD Pops on July 28, 2020 at 9:02 pm

I bought some. No hugger headers fit becyse they touched the block all the way. So what did i do? Flipped them upside down like those derby cars with th exhaust pointing up. And sent it. Honestly love the look and almost ear raping sound of the engine screaming xD

  39. Oscar Loyola on July 28, 2020 at 9:03 pm

The eBay ones I seen are t304 stainless Gibson and some other name brands use that same material
