They deprioritize, the data speeds only slow when there’s congestion. I was over the data cap several times with both Cricket and Simple Mobile and no slowing.. Straight Talk on the other hand does throttle the speed after you go over
They been caping data there lieing after 40gs they slow you down but I ported my back to them today to get cap again lol but I like them now metrobytmobile is on some bull shit with fees all of something like they post paid simple mobile is better
YOU MUST BE JOKING. This company is crap. Read the reviews on Yelp. Crappy overseas technical support with thick accents and barely command of the English language – but that’s not even the worse problem. You will frustrate yourself for hours trying to fix your phone service, calling over and over again until you get someone with a brain cell. Their "software" was automatically SENDING ALL MY INCOMING CALLS TO VOICEMAIL, costing me HUNDREDS of dollars if not more. Im convinced this company is a SCAM. STAY AWAY.

Use simple unlimited plan 60 it truly unllimited never had problem with them . Now on 3GB 25 dollars plan have WiFi at home use century link internet for my iPhone and Roku and Xboxone.
Boost mobile is the worst phone company ever, never recommend that again please. If anyone is reading this, never get boost. It’s the worst internet you’ll ever get.

I have had it for month’s. There’s no throttle. Unlimited means unlimited at 4g lite just as it claims.
Simple is good I’m using the $50.00 plan with know buffing at all with 10gs of hotspot customer service is okay better then most all of the big 4to the prepaid use overseas reps as call center

I like simple mobile now on the $50 plan they included 10Gb of mobile hotspot thing that I never use maybe sometimes when using my Android Tablet but I do recommend simple mobile in my area I have full bars fast internet and for the past months cause I been with the $50 for 1 year I’ve used each month 60 to 70 GB of data and I haven’t experience no slowness only Time I see something wrong is when in my city there’s bad weather
Well when I had them a month ago there were no buffing on the $50 dollar plan not as much but they don’t use TMobile new network they use hspa + that’s why they say unlimited
Trash. Ran out of 4g in about 3 movies within the first week. Can’t wait to change back next month
I have the $50 plan and haven’t seen any throttling @ 30 to 40 gigs of monthly data usage…..also get 10 gigs hotspot a month….very good service for me…..

About to post a video I just made…warning customers about how they rip people off, real-time, falsely adjusting the orders! Furthermore, "Jullio" informed me, AGAIN, that after discovering this a week into my service turning to shit, I am being held responsible!? Well…the video paints a completely different picture. Screw this. Switch from any Simple Mobile carrier, unless you’re a masochist. I was even lied to, "We checked the whole records…" To paraphrase. When I corrected him by stating that he’d in fact only checked 2 out of 10 months, he agreed and made a liar out of him and his company. I thanked him, and instead of allowing me to pay the sum of a few dollars, this dummy said that I was welcome. Done! I will be reposting with my video link.
Simple Mobile is garbage they are the worst service I have ever experienced I join them and only kept them for 2 weeks because their service was so bad don’t call and talk to a representative because they will not help you they wouldn’t even give me credit on my account for me not being able to use my service so I quickly got rid of them and would not recommend them to anyone!!!!
To my surprise Boost Mobile is 10 times better than Simple Mobile will ever be I have the unlimited plus plan and I get unlimited data with no throttle at all and also 30 GB mobile hotspot and unlimited talk and text and streaming is at HD quality!! Simple Mobile plan doesn’t have none of that I only pay $60 a month tax included for my Boost Mobile plan Simple Mobile charge tax on their plans which makes it even worse!!!
Use Straight Talk at Walmart. 45$, 25 gb. They have sim cards for TmObile, att, Verizon. Which ever card works best in your area. It’s great and fast

It’s easy. Unlimited data means you get 60GB of truly unlimited high speed data, after 60GB they’ll throttle you if they see you as "congesting their network."
I checked the Simple Mobile website and they have in fine print under the $50 unlimited plan: "If congested, customers may notice reduced speeds vs. T-Mobile customers that may be further reduced for small number of customers who use >40GB." I assume they have the same 4g unlimited data cap as T-Mobile. But might suffer reduced speed more often than T-Mobile customers if network is congested. A very good deal for 40GB 4g limited data with 10GB 4g hotspot for $50 a month, $45 with autopay.
I use unlimited with hotspot and no throttling for 3 months so far.
Simple mobile gives exactly what it says.
My speed never slows down it’s great had it since March.
4g they say it slows down to 2g but it seems to stay at 4g all month now matter how much I stream videos.
That’s more than I’m paying for!!!
