Ohio State fan here. Thought Texas’ offense looks strong. Several good backs, receivers, and two good quarterbacks. Wanted to check out Ewers and he looked good. Kid has a strong arm and is good at moving in the pocket. Didn’t get much of a chance to see him when he was here LOL. Good luck during the season. Maybe we can meet in the playoff this year. No offense, I like Card but he is just a faster Sam with less arm talent right now. These players have not seen arm talent like Ewers in game so they are dropping a lot of passes like when Magic first got with the lakers. They need more time to get that timing down. With the running back talent we have we don’t need another running QB. Ewers is the only QB that can Take Texas to the next level. They just need to work to get that timing down. Card is A useful backup though. Also Texas is built for the longball Card is Just too inconsistent with that pass.

After Roschon’s long TD, they talk about big play ability. No. It was just horrendous defense and tackling.
PSA: I will be honest, I don’t see anything special about ewers or card, card is uncoordinated, needs to work on his coordination. I would def not start Ewers, he’s to shaky, he foot placements needs to be better, he overthrows balls, His accuracy needs to be better, ONE flash of a TD pass, does not mean you’re ready, especially when you threw 9 incomplete passes.. Card has a issue in the pocket that needs to be fixed. Both are slow as shit, they won’t be able to avoid the rush, but THIS SEASON, I WOULD GO WITH CARD, because he has experience. The team looked decent, not enough to win a title though. Bijan is their golden ticket, but they need Malik murphy…..Malik Murphy, is the guy that has all the intangibles to be two threats in the backfield…..Texas has not realize this yet, but in recent years they always seem to run off the great dual threats, when that is what they will need to win a title….. Malik Murphy is the player, We all should be waiting for,

Everybody talking about the players but sark is the one need watching. I want to see more rallying around the players, no more deer in headlights in big games, no more squatting on the sidelines isolated, no more not utilizing roschon when teams take away Robinson, improve clock management, and just learn your rooster. I really don’t like sark nothing in his previous HC jobs says he will be a good HC great coordinator though, but let’s hope I’m wrong but doubt it. Hiring sark was like listening to your GPS say turn right and you look up and it’s a oneway street sign but you still turn anyway
