Its 3000 to 3500 bring home per week people. (PEANUTS) Trucking companies will lie to you in a heartbeat to get you in the door. He is a 3rd party company. He owns 0 trucks. His rates are low for hauling sand. People are jumping ship and he is panicking. Good companies don’t need to advertise.

  6. Steven Ray on October 21, 2021 at 11:00 am

What dip sh*ts. 14k a week for driving but new drivers will never see it. So why do they think new drivers will join?

You have to have specialized truck and trailer, your own authority, all kinds of certifications etc. The guy dispatches you from his damn apartment been in biz 2 short years. You can potentially make 8k a week he claims. Don’t bother with this scammer and work the load board yourself.

  14. Grey Fox on October 21, 2021 at 11:15 am

They shortage of willing suckers. There are plenty of drivers most have gotten wise to the racket and quit.

Outfits like Coca Cola and UPS have no problem finding good drivers. Swift, Knight, insert fly by night soon to bankrupt trucking firm cannot.

  15. Doina Griffet on October 21, 2021 at 11:16 am

    I’m going there

  16. Frank Maraman on October 21, 2021 at 11:18 am

First off you gotta have your own authority.own truck and trailer and yes you can make up to 14000 a week.but you gotta stay in it all week.

Fake lies… maybe for owner operators…. fake news

  21. MrBigR504 on October 21, 2021 at 11:25 am

$14,000 a week? How about $4,000.00 a week after fuel & all deductions?

  22. Alan M on October 21, 2021 at 11:28 am

Quit testing applicants for pot and your pool of applicants would more than double. Forget the feds and just do it. Trucking industry had a great track record prior to the advent of drug testing. There was no "safety crisis" regarding drug use among truck drivers. Reagan started that BS. A generation has come and gone since then. Let stoners drive again.

  23. Blaze Hall on October 21, 2021 at 11:29 am

This is not true, do not listen to this. You need to be an owner of your own truck to make the amount he’s speaking about. Companies pay drivers peanuts. Horrible journalism.

  24. German Titov on October 21, 2021 at 11:32 am

Truck driver shortage? That’s why I can never find one empty spot at rest area /truck stops after 6pm , this is a LIE

  25. Blue Lotus Organic Red Wine on October 21, 2021 at 11:33 am

Why now? They have had shortages since deregulation….inform people, dont lie to the public.

  26. bruce ferreira on October 21, 2021 at 11:35 am

More prpaganda..the reason there (if)is a shortage is because of these cheap ass companies dont want to pay drivers.

  27. Araya Buchichi on October 21, 2021 at 11:35 am

Absolutely No truck driver shortage But Low wages

  28. Men Guarding Their Own Wallets on October 21, 2021 at 11:35 am

Yeah, there really is a driver shortage. Farming companies here in Southern Ontario are offering drivers $14 per hour to come to work for them. But the nearby Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, gas stations, and grocery stores, are paying $15 per hour, so that sort of takes away a lot of workers.

  29. Life Love on October 21, 2021 at 11:36 am

    14k a week? 🤣🤣 them lies haven’t died yet.
Non CDL jobs paying the same or more.
    Doordash.15-20$hrs
    Uber 15-20$hrs
    McDonalds 13-17$hrs
Trucking 11-16 $hrs base of cpm no overtime pay 70hr work week.

  30. Araya Buchichi on October 21, 2021 at 11:40 am

    Fake News

  31. O.O on October 21, 2021 at 11:41 am

So many people on here not making any money trucking. If you are not making at least 90k a year driving you are doing it wrong or you are lazy. There is not a driver shortage. There is a shortage of drivers that will actually touch freight. Everyone wants 6 figures to drop and hook. Not going to happen haha

  32. Bonnie Gardner on October 21, 2021 at 11:42 am

    Don’t embarrass yourself offering that

  33. shelby namels on October 21, 2021 at 11:44 am

This story is so full of misinformation and outright falsehoods it is amazing it’s been allowed to run unchecked for so long and still gets picked up by other news outlets even today.
KENS 5 by now should be aware of the problems with this story to the point that NOT running an update that clarifies and rectifies the misleading information is nothing short of spreading fake news.

Has any driver actually called this company or tried them because there is a shortage but no one has offered more money

  37. TheMunguia80 on October 21, 2021 at 11:48 am

They know what can solve the problem “INCREASE THE PAY”

  38. Ken1990 on October 21, 2021 at 11:48 am

this story is BS! trucking is BS thats why there is a shortage. I spent 6 years behind the wheels and got the hell out. you go otr for 1-4 years and companies still want to pay you peanuts. youre away from your family for weeks sometimes months! you lose relationships and marriages, your kids hardly know you and you put on 100lbs of fat from driving all day and no healthy food options on the road! not to mention the parking issues in some states. you go local and you work 14 hours per day and they only give you 8 hours off because apparently its legal in local trucking to only get 8 hours off and not 10 hours like otr. then you work another 14 hour shift and repeat sometimes 5 days or 6 days if youre really unlucky. no time for family or life outside of work. thats the real story! these companies take advantage of drivers and we are fedup. I saved my money finished college and got the hell out of the trucking industry. they can have their automated trucks. they rather replace us with robots than pay a fair wage and treat their drivers better. WE ARE NOT SLAVES!

  39. bryan lippard on October 21, 2021 at 11:49 am

Lol. I’ve been driving for 34 years. I haven’t seen my pay increase. The only thing that increases is my working hours and time away from home.

  40. Breny z on October 21, 2021 at 11:49 am

Ok let’s go I have a CDL for 30 years I have not driven tractor trailers but I’ve driven Triple axle dump trucks with 40’ trailers hauling heavy equipment such as excavators i’ve driven 80,000 pound trucks from the time I receive my drivers license before you even needed a CDL every job I go to They want two years of over the road well I’ve been over the road for 30 years . This story is BS otherwise they would hire guys like me in a minute.

  41. Mag Nificent on October 21, 2021 at 11:50 am

i was almost going to get this job, but then they want you to have a license. It’s deceitful!

  42. Travis Moore on October 21, 2021 at 11:53 am

  43. Daaln Weaver on October 21, 2021 at 11:53 am

Fake advertising don’t fall for it, they’ll use you like a slave and probably make less than your old job. there’s still a few good company out there, only if you’re lucky with the right employer and will be like finding needles in haystacks. I’ve been working for plenty of bs employer who promised but could not do like what they said especially with 17 years, anything under .65cpm no thanks know your worth because you can’t be replace if anything happens to you driving 80k semi trucks.

  47. trucking owner ops on October 21, 2021 at 11:55 am

You can pay 14 k a week for driver’s yeah right lol .

  48. Corey Holmes on October 21, 2021 at 11:55 am

That company hire owner operated no company driver

  49. Bhante on October 21, 2021 at 11:56 am

Hey America, I’ll happily emigrate to Texas, legally and do this job if you’ll let me. Then, I will buy firearms to protect both myself and innocent civilians and I’ll pay my taxes on time, and help those less fortunate than me. Also, when I make my millions, I’ll open up a race course for dirt buggies that will have paint ball guns attached for the passenger to shoot out balloons attached to the back of every buggy.
Can I get in now, please?
