Hey, i have been checking out this monitor but it comes with only 30 days warranty, seeing your video is now 4 months old is the screen still working as intended? Would you still recommend this screen?

I found one of these on ebay for £20. I wanted to use it for YouTube/Twitch and gaming like while I am on my bed or travelling or as a secondary monitor maybe for PC temps. Is it okay to play some light games on it? Nothing too intense. Thinking of hooking it up to a controller for tablets.

Does the monitor go to sleep when your PC does? I have another 7 inch like this that displays "no input" when my computer goes to sleep or if my other monitors shut off in power saving mode while the computer continues to run.

Not sure how soon you can reply to this if you even can, but i have purchased this little thing and its just not connecting. I have both the USB and HDMI plugged in and yet its just not showing up. Nothing seems wrong and there isn’t a ton of videos on this and am really just looking for some help.

When not in use for say, an in game map, you could uss it as a stat screen!

Most definitely going to buy this as a third monitor so I can have a YouTube video playing on it. I usually like to have something like a stream playing in the background while I play, but I also enjoy having my second monitor for Discord chats.
A tiny little third monitor hanging right below my secondary will be a lifesaver.
I’ve also been wanting a drawing pad for my side for a while now cause damn am I shaky with a mouse lol, I feel like I have parkinsons everytime I do almost anything in Photoshop.
This will help so damn much with creating maps and art for my D:OS2 Game master campaigns, and if this thing can double as it it’s a definite buy.

Great video! If I was gaming in full screen on my main monitor could I touch this monitor and do things on without exiting the full screen game? I want to have spotify running on the mini touch screen so I can change songs in the middle of a game without having to alt-tab out. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you!

Hello! Love the video! I became very interested in this waveshare screen that I bought it so I can hook it up to my PC and use it as a second screen for streaming and what not. I was wondering if anyone has encountered the problem I’ve encountered. Upon connecting it, (USB to DC and then Touch and then connecting HDMI to monitor) It won’t turn on. I am using windows 10. I have reset my pc and I’ve tried other USB plugs. It won’t turn on and I check the display settings to detect device but it doesn’t detect it. It only detects it in the Devices section but that’s it.
I have contacted the company via email but I don’t know what to do from here Other then wait and see if anyone else has had the same issue and may have a solution. Thank you!

Great video. Convinced me to pick this little guy up. For anyone who gets this display and has trouble getting the touch functionality to work properly in Windows 10 – you will need to calibrate the screen first. System search for "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input" then use the configure-> set up option. Then just follow the on screen prompts. Cheers!
