Hey what do you think about the Dell inspiron 7500 2 in 1. Intel corei5 12gb with 528 gb ssd. My partner wants a great computer and this one we saw at best buy seemed the best for the price. I really hope you answer me.

Josh, Vivobook S15 is IPS I believe, I have last years one, remember checking that. Its low color accuracy but I love the laptop and upgradability.

I needed a laptop and I bought the c740 after watching this video, it is a great laptop indeed. The only problem I had was the noisy fan and after a month it was unbearable. Called lenovo and had them fix it. I don’t know if the problem was just with my machine or all the machines are like that but I haven’t read any other reviews complaining about the fan so it was probably just mine. The laptop is working great now.

I’ve been looking for a new laptop for school, gaming- like roblox, minecraft, and sims 4 (but I dont want a gaming laptop), and decent battery life. I’ve heard good things about the Microsoft Surface Laptop 1, 2, and 3, and I’m looking into the Lenovo Yoga C740. What other laptops should I consider? Are any of the ones I listed very good? I’m looking at a budget of under $1000

HP envy x360 has an option for 400 nit screen and a 1000 nit screen on the 13 inch model. I would like to see a review on those.
I recently looked to buy a laptop in this budget category and ended up getting a HP probook 455 g7 with 1000 nit display

I am buying a laptop for my grandson who is interested in creative content and video editing. I had no clue so began a search for the specs required. I read countless reviews and recommendations and watched lots of YouTube reviews that left me totally confused. Then I found your review. I learned more in your 20 minute video than all of the others combined and was able to make an informed decision. Thank you so much for your simple, straight forward and factual approach to educate those of us with zero technical knowledge. I am watchimg your other videos just to see what more I can learn!

  41. Emerson-Shea April on August 6, 2020 at 9:37 pm

You know…. When I first found you channel, I thought you were just overly picky…like maybe I don’t mind a bad screen, as you have said in many videos… But.. You’re really knowledge and I think as consumers we think we can live with some compromises…. Untill we have to, and then it’s too late. I’ve come to really appreciate your insightful videos as if we listen to your advice it will save us time, money, and frustration in the future. I really appreciate your hard work, especially for this video.

FINALLY A REAL GOOD VIDEO ON BUDGET LAPTOPS LIKE SERIOUSLY FINALLY!!!

  43. David Vallaire on August 6, 2020 at 9:38 pm

I like your reviews because you are willing to point out the negatives on laptops. See if you can find a laptop that one has a good quality screen, has a processor and ram capable of video editing such as a Ryzen 7 and 16 gb of Ram, is made of metal not plastic, with good service available, at the best price you can find. A laptop like this can serve a person well for many years if they take care of it. I have Dell Latitude now. Bought it used with i5 5200, 8 gb of ram, and a 256 SSd . It has served me well for over a year for my general purposes, and looks like it will last several more years, hopefully. I have been looking at all these laptops for a couple of months. So far I think the best quality and dependability for the money is still the Dell Latitude.

Youtube should have recommended this video earlier because it is a great help! I’m already planning to buy an HP Pavilion 15 cs3113TX a week from now for our online classes by August 2020. Though, it only has 250 nits of brightness and 1.85 kg of weight. Though, I’m not sure if having a 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA is okay with 245 GB SSD PCle NVMe. I compared it previously with HP Pavilion 14 ce3064TX, Dell Inspiron 14 5490, and Dell Inspiron 15 5593. Thank you, Just Josh.
