@Dimitri, you review all these gaming headset play games, I think you should start a gaming channel or stream
After testing out a few setups. I think my favorite gaming setup so far is the Philips SHP9500’s with MOD MIC and a Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. It is extremely simple, sounds way better than my stock sound card and more than enough power to drive the SHP’s.
Edit, after a lot of debate, I’ve decided on this same setup (HD 58x + Schiit Fulla 3).
My Gaming audio setup is Beyerdynamic Dt 990 600 ohms powered by Mayflower Electronics Objective O2 amp & DAC combo. I would love to try AKG 7xx and HD 58x.

its a great DAC/AMP but my first unit broke after 4months of use and secound unit just in 2days.Both started crackling,hissing getting audio cut outs mic not working.
It is disappointing that on an audio review you have not eliminated blowing into the microphone :-/

I bought the Sennheiser GSP 300 and I feel that these headphones are lousy! The bass is hardly felt, I don’t know if it’s something with my unit or they are just like that. Is there someone else with these headphones who can share their experience with me? To decide if I buy an amp or better I switch to the Hyper X Cloud ll.
great the X3 has some weird problem of when you play a video after 10 secs of no sound you can clearly hear crackling.
Ifi Zen way better if you have separate usb mic.

man you would just pick up an old Yamaha receiver and use that to power your headphones… those mid 2000’s Yamaha amps have a natural sound and you can buy them on craigslist for like 50$!

Let’s talk about everything that I do NOT actually use.
PSA: You don’t need to waste money on the Fulla 3 with the HD 58x. The Apple USB C to 3.5mm dongle DAC/AMP is more than powerful enough to drive them and honestly, I think it sounds better than the Fulla 3. Schiit has a terrible return policy of a 15% restocking fee and no reimbursement for shipping, for which, their shipping charges are very high. So now I’m stuck with the Fulla 3 and don’t really need it.
Unless you want the amp for other headphones besides the HD 58x, don’t waste your money.
I use a RME Babyface Pro FS. Headphones are Beyerdynamic 1990 Pro. My Mike is an Se2200. Yes ok… i use my stuff for serious audio recoding. But also for gaming.
It’s been said about useless features for annoying online fps gaming instead of useful suggestions for story-driven horror games, adventures, rpg ?? Also, who would buy gaming headset when there are dozens of regular headphones within $150-200.
