Anyone care to explain why an anarchist is getting a paid advertising on a video?
I spent years spouting the libertarian party line about free markets and how only abolishing the state and transitioning into an anarcho-capitalist society would bring about peace and prosperity. Imagine my chagrin when I realized that we already live in the anarcho-capitalist paradise I’ve been pining for most of my adult life. Governments are corporations like any other, only they specialize in security provision and branch out into other industries like education and wealth redistribution insofar as economies of scope make such activities improve their ability to provide security in a fashion their constituents can tolerate.

tl;dr: gaming should turn people into socialists and not altright drones
and sometimes, the fellas all waiting in line all decide they can up the price together and we have no choice about it but woooo freedom
Being American, I’m used to house prices just… never rising and maintenance just drained my money anyway.
Couldn’t even sell it at low value so I just started living in the house I was renting instead.
I’m sure landlords can still be a parasite in a way, especially slumlords, but when you actually have to put money into keeping up a building because its expected of you by law or document, its hard to take seriously an accusation that I was the parasite who was making money I never actually saw any of.
People don’t talk about maintenance as if its production even though its still expensive and requires labor. Because when its done, it doesn’t always look like you’ve produced anything, because the building or bridge or whatever was already there. The crack in the slab wasn’t noticed by anyone but the person paying.

Honestly, the video game companies need to have gamers as investors and not people who don’t play video games in order for them to be accountable.

I work in the game industry. I don’t play the games we make because I know how addictive they are (not in a good way). So I wouldn’t recommend anyone to play anything that takes away more than an hour a day from their life.
After watching some of Jims videos I missed earlier the algorithm was like:
