Wrap electrical tape around that bar to fatten it up

Really good camera system but definitely think if possible, fabricate a clip to move the rear view ones out to the smaller diameter mirror bar hopefully to get some trailer side vision .. Can understand your disappointment with the customer service .. Enjoyed the video.

If you have a old bicycle/car or truck innertube rubber lying around you can cut a piece the width of your mount and wrap it around the mirror rod then clamp it down👍Tiny Trucker on CDLLIFE🤠

Wonder if you could buy the 2nd gen head unit and use the cameras you worked so hard to install. Falcon might be willing to work with you since you are not satisfied.

Video downloads are incredibly lengthy also.

And holy hell. Don’t get a second gen. My on screen menu doesn’t work at all, I have to use the remote to access and scroll. I’ll need to call them about that.

Great system, Im sure there’ll be a way to change out the monitor to read the card on your Mac..great security when parked👌
Yes the Garmins are awesome. I’ve been running them for years in all my trucks.. extremely reliable..

Nice video man I like that system. I especially like that backwards view under the trailer. You could get a cheapie Windows computer to solve that issue but who wants to do that LOL

The one you’re using uses a sd card because the monitor is the actual unit.
Had you gotten the Actual DVR it would include cameras, monitor and an separate harddrive system that you just plug a usb in to download.
What you have is a glorified dashcam NOT a DVR.

I have heard a couple drivers say about setting this up for blind side backing. Did you setup the cameras for these angles and if you did can you show using it once for that how well it works?

Couldn’t you use a wireless camera system?

Moral to the story. Read reviews and do research before you buy. As far as the compatibility with Mac, determine the file type created by the system and find out what software will change it to MP4. It’s that easy.
