THIS Video Game Store in Dallas has EVERYTHING!

I went game hunting with Mr. Wright Way in Dallas, TX. Hit up several pawnshops and stopped by a store that had just about everything you could think of! Prices were a little high but with trades anything is possible. Let’s see what we scored.

Do they have international games like Japanese imports or United Kingdom imports or even Australian imports, and South Korea imports also?

  2. James S. on November 11, 2021 at 2:14 pm

I love my 360 but collecting for it is rough compared to PS3 because blu rays are less prone to scratches.

Thanks for the Mr Wright Way recommendation! His videos are class.

Retro gaming is so costly it would be just cheaper to port the games to the PS4/PS5/Switch pay like 49.99 per game instead of paying $499.99 and UP for it.

So NEVER buy the SNES version of Earthbound for its $400+ asking price when the SNES Classic mini from like 2016 has IT built into it as 1 of its many 20 games.

Forget about PHYSICAL at the moment John.. UK PSN store as Diablo 3 as a deal. Eternal is £49.99..Prime Evil is on offer at £34.99.. YEAH I hear you say – Prime Evil INCLUDES Diablo II:Resurrected which is £34.99 alone.. Just bought again after Pre-release on laptop in April..and fed up of loading times. OFFER ENDS EITHER MIDNIGHT NOW (3rd Nov) or 11th Nov.. Check the USA

So the question is, did you have fun in the DFW area? It was great seeing everyone at Retropalooza and look forward to next years. Also if/when you make your back to the area there are many more stores to check out. You caught one of the better ones as far as retro gaming, but there are some that have more. Anyway thanks for the great content.

Wow. That is a ton of pawn shops.
Personally I dislike pawnshops. Too much desperation in the air at those places.

Silent Service – I’ve never played the NES version, but it was a very well received game when it originally came out for the C64, Apple, Atari 8-bit and DOS back in 1985. Of course those systems all had keyboards giving them the equivalent of 30+ buttons

  15. punkydudester3 on November 11, 2021 at 2:32 pm

  29. Matthew Demski on November 11, 2021 at 2:48 pm

Jeez, that game store. When you have THAT many games, and THAT many duplicates of AAA titles, you know your prices are too high.

  30. Fobia Bathory on November 11, 2021 at 2:48 pm

Goddamn… The price on that Kiwi Kraze!?!?! Hahaha… 🙄

  31. anonamatron on November 11, 2021 at 2:49 pm

Snatcher for $949……….. I sold one of those for a lot less than that….. $100-150 ish? It was a long time ago, and it actually got me laid, so maybe it was worth it?

I still have my Earthbound though.

  34. oasisbeyond on November 11, 2021 at 2:52 pm

Such an amazing store – other than the prices.

  38. Joey Hadorn on November 11, 2021 at 2:54 pm

I bought that Nintendo Mario watch brand new…purchased at Walmart in like 1989 for around $20 I believe. Anyway, I was 14 at the time and the watch barely fit my wrist since it was obviously for young kids 12 and under and not teenagers.

  39. Smokebeard the long whiskers on November 11, 2021 at 2:56 pm

ITS OVERPRICED BECAUSE YOUR WILLING TO PAY IT! Wake up fellow game dorks. Every time you buy an overpriced used game, your just feeding the greed that has fueled this rise in pricing. Remember muscle cars? Well, the SAME THING happened to them. The older generation seeks things to reconnect with their childhood. So there’s plenty of people willing to charge you for it. Soooooo stop paying high prices! Lol. Jesus gamers can be dense.

  40. JonnyFive on November 11, 2021 at 2:58 pm

Glad you had a great time 🙂 makes me want to explore more of my state

  41. anonamatron on November 11, 2021 at 2:59 pm

You have $300+ to spend and you home in on the R-Zone and the wristwatch games. AVGN is coming for you.

  42. George Hernandez on November 11, 2021 at 2:59 pm

Do people really buy ps4/ps5 and xbox 360/one games at pawn shops?

  43. Michael Knight on November 11, 2021 at 2:59 pm

Wow they have just about everything there. How do they have so many games and keep up with all these prices going up. Maybe they price them high so they don’t have to change there prices as often.

  44. Hijynx87 on November 11, 2021 at 3:00 pm

Holy cow Snatcher is $1000 now?! Just a few years ago it was $200.

  45. TheMultiGunMan on November 11, 2021 at 3:01 pm

$119 for F-Zero GX? Those Mario Party prices, yikes! Thank goodness I got all my stuff like 8 plus years ago! I got a lot of ps1 and 2 stuff, and some GC stuff but it was never as plentiful as the playstation stuff but I rarely paid more than $20 for a CIB game. I got some deals from a guy on FB and he hooked it up. Einhander, X-Men COTA, Castlevania Chronicles, a bunch of light gun shooters. Some of the only games I paid a good amount for were Harmful Park, Tales Of Destiny 1 and 2, .Hack Vol. 4 and Suikoden 2. Harmful Park was the most, but still was a deal at the time – $150 CIB. Caught Disc Replay slippin, HARD!
