If only we had these video game gadgets in real life, then our lives would be so much easier…or at least more awesome. If you could have any cool device or fancy gadget from a video game, would it be the Portal Gun from Portal, Fallout’s Pip Boy, the pokeballs from Pokemon, Batman’s detective vision from the Arkham games, Link’s Hookshot from Zelda, the Fulton Recovery device from Metal Gear Solid, Half-Life 2’s Gravity Gun made famous by Gordon Freeman or maybe just the Invis Watch that the Spy uses in Team Fortress 2. These can be electronic devices, help tools or makeship weapons, as long as they’re super and you wish they were real.

Ugh don’t even get me started on the batman one. I’ve alway have wished that I could find the my lost and phone or pair of scissors just by turning on a vision that only showed black except for a neon glowing silhouette of the item I am looking for.

The "Gravity Gun" that was mentioned had already existed in another game long before Half Life 2 ever came out. It was in Project Snowblind as the "Kinetic Kicker" though as the name emplies it probably did not use the same type of energy though it did function the same.
