#1 will not work, the phone will say it’s charging but the battery % actually goes down. It should be a 9v battery and a regulator to work properly.

I have tried something similar to the first life hack and it says it’s charging but I left it for ten minutes and it didn’t even charge 1 percent
With the phone charger each AA battery holds 3.0v and times by three that is 9.0v witch will only charge your phone to 20%
