Did Trip’s want to be "the guy" & use Machiavellian means to stay on top? Yes. Does he love the business and sincerely want people to do well? Yes. The best thing about Hunter now is he isn’t an active wrestler. So he is fully devoted to getting the WWE over, not necessarily himself. Vince is like that but feels it has to be done by being the Harlem Globetrotters, sell the experience. Hunter feels that individual superstars still matter most and wants to see guys break big.
No one wishes Vince I’ll. But we want someone else to drive the car. Sooner or later it’s going to happen, it’d be nice if it was while Vince was still alive. He deserves to see the company have another boom period. But doing what they do know and with him at the head of everything, it just ain’t gonna happen.
