Timeline history of the most used smartphone operating systems from 1999 to 2019.
I’ve updated my previous most used mobile OS video with a much broader and recent numbers. I’ve also went from 2007 to earlier years when first smart mobile devices started to emerge. Numbers presented here showing market share by specific OS, measured by amount of units shipped worldwide. For the late 90s – PDA devices are included as a first pioneers in the field.

Android exist before ios, your data is wrong. Android started long before Google bought it on 2008. Also ios never had the pick you showed 😂 ios max usage was always low.
The only reason why Android was at the top like the whole time was because over 200 phones running Android are released each year, where as Apple releases a max of 3.

I really hope that some day Android will have 100% of the market, and apple will just disappear. It will happen when people realize how terrible apple is and how people wasted money buying from the king of second-hand technology.

Android: stays steady at 85%. iOS: jumps up a few % when a new phone comes out and quickly goes back down when everyone’s phone breaks.
