What Will These Repairmen Do for Easy Garage Door Fix?

What Will These Repairmen Do for Easy Garage Door Fix?

When something breaks in your house, you rely on the repairman who comes to fix it. But how do you know if they’re charging hundreds, even thousands for repairs you don’t need? Inside Edition rented a house in Montclair, New Jersey, for an entire month, tricking it out with cameras and then calling the fix-it guys to see what happened. In the first in a special series of investigations, Inside Edition enlisted two experts, Mark McManus with Door Boy and Andrew Cimmino with Christie Overhead Door, to assess the garage door. Both assured it was in perfect working order. Then, they created a minor problem the experts say any repairman should be able to instantly recognize and fix. So what happened next? #InsideEdition

I’m Mexican and I was taught to fix my own stuff we never took a car to the mechanics because we know how to do all that and my dads Carpenter hit me up 🤙

As someone who’s been doing contractor work lately, this is just sad. I get that it can be hard, but never at the expense of others. Always be willing to go the extra mile to give them a good deal and a great job, and you will reap the harvest thereof.
    Don’t get ripped off!

When a contractor closes his eyes when he gives you a price he’s probably scamming you. I think breaking eye contact is a sign of shame.

What you’ll have to do is if you want to repair man get somebody you know to look at it if they know what they’re doing. Once they know what’s wrong with it call or repairman if the repairman’s honest then you’ll know because you know what’s wrong. If you know the prices gouged then you’ll know he’s charging you too much so you’ll know.

They should post the names of the dishonest companies. As a business owner, reputation is everything. Hopefully these guys all go out of business. Also if you have questions, you can comment here and I’ll do my best to answer you!

People work hard in their jobs. They rip off people to try to put food on their table. I don’t think its right for these rich reporters to be ruining buisnesses. Just my opinion
