Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! http://shop.bbtv.com/collections/forgotten-weapons

Today, may the good lord help me, I am taking the Zip 22 out to the range for some shooting.

Note that while it actually worked remarkably well right up until it jammed solid, on the second range trip when we went back to get the high-speed footage, we literally could not get two rounds in a row. We did get a couple neat high-speed malfunctions though…

A big thanks to viewer Matt for generously loaning me the gun to film!

What sort of tosser makes a worse pistol than all others,??,,

  2. Jesus Zamora on March 1, 2022 at 12:56 am

I’m starting to see how this destroyed the company that made it…

  3. Fake Name on March 1, 2022 at 12:56 am

We heard you like Bolt-Action rifles so we made a pistol that you have to mess with your gun in between nearly every shot!

  4. Markius Galfordii on March 1, 2022 at 1:01 am

I thought those rocket round guns where the worst guns invented. They don’t even shoot straight lol

  5. Bob Roberts on March 1, 2022 at 1:02 am

The only gun that can bring about world peace.

  6. Kristofer Ivarson on March 1, 2022 at 1:03 am

To get the most out of this gun you need to hold it right. The gun is designed to only be shot left handed gangsta style.

  7. CapnJackSB on March 1, 2022 at 1:03 am

Not much else can be said about how bad this pistol is. It would be interesting to stop beating on it and try and make it into a reliable piece of equipment.

  8. Eric P on March 1, 2022 at 1:03 am

Its so crappy. I love it.

  9. cpdleader12345 on March 1, 2022 at 1:05 am

It may be pointless to do so but, do you think machining a steel "bolt" for the zip .22 would make it fire more reliably?

  10. Samuel Bousfield on March 1, 2022 at 1:06 am

Jams first shot yeah that’s a bad gun.

  11. Wesaci on March 1, 2022 at 1:06 am

So the "expert" is making fun of a weapon yet can’t even fire it because said "expert" had the safety engaged. Got it…..

  12. atomicdmt on March 1, 2022 at 1:07 am

    so painful!

  13. William Stiefel on March 1, 2022 at 1:08 am

Likely the 15 round magazine feeding problem was caused by your fingers putting backward/downward pressure on the front side of the magazine so the bolt was pushing the rounds downwards into the front of the magazine instead of up and out of the magazine. When you switched back to the ten rounder, the problem stopped. (Because you were no longer pushing the magazine out of proper feed alignment.) if that makes sense. I’ve seen the same thing happen with airsoft guns and ARs when holding the magazine instead of the hardguard.

If EA made a gun it would be that thing.

  15. Mello Gee on March 1, 2022 at 1:14 am

And here I thought Lorcin Mfg. made some seriously horsehit Saturday Night Specials way back in the day. That piece of junk takes the cake.

  16. LinusNil on March 1, 2022 at 1:15 am

I don’t have much experience with guns except for using my friends guns occasionally. I do however have quite some experience with risk assessment, and machinery safety. This gun is terrifying. Every mechanical failure will pose a risk to the user. Also, after receiving shit loads of failures there is a risk that the user makes bad decisions/mistakes out of sheer frustration. On top of that, the positioning of the charging handle is just ridiculous. How the actual f*** did USFA think while making this?

im going to guess that it’s clearances are off and if a rod finds the right angle it just locks up

  23. Rob Van Beers on March 1, 2022 at 1:28 am

The inventor of this had mentally anti gun thoughts making this, while watching and listening you explaining how to take apart this thing made me tired, there is too much handeling taking place at a gun that refuses to work on so many levels.Less parts less problems, keep it simple stil works

  24. Los Pollos Hermanos on March 1, 2022 at 1:30 am

i have to disagree. the worst gun ever are those 3D printed plastic guns made by that texan pedo. they explode after you pull the trigger.

  25. MorshuArtsInc on March 1, 2022 at 1:32 am

The only thing this gun ever killed was the company producing it

  26. Somebody on March 1, 2022 at 1:32 am

I didn’t expect to see Ian so mystified by a malfunction that he just hopefully pulled the trigger a few times.

They still sell these at my local gun store. Somehow they managed to sell out of them.

The only gun where gangster leaning it makes it work as intended.

  31. IVIARKKYY on March 1, 2022 at 1:37 am

I appreciate this dude integrity that he posted this video trying for about 20 seconds to fire a gun with the safety on when he could have just left it out in the edits, fair play my dude

  32. Daniel Heines II on March 1, 2022 at 1:38 am

Apparently they sold upraged recoil springs. One of the archived MattV2099 videos demonstrates 4 flawfless magazines in a row. Just an issue to chamber the very first round twice or so i beleive

‘INTENSE BREATHING FROM PHANTOM FORCES PLAYER’

  35. H. A. on March 1, 2022 at 1:41 am

Ian calls this the worst gun ever.

He’s had access to Kybher pass pistols, chinese mystery pistols, self-made poacher guns from Africa and crude WWII last-ditch weapons of the Japanese and Germans alike…
And this gun makes them all pale in comparison. Let that sink in.

I’ve seen this video half a dozen times and I still cringe whenever I see Ian fiddling around the muzzle, trying to cock the gun, that’s a design just waiting to mess up someone’s hands.

  36. NuclearKitten64 on March 1, 2022 at 1:42 am

this thing jams like it’s a nerf gun

  37. Please don't feed the animals on March 1, 2022 at 1:42 am

Oh my god this thing fucking sucks so bad hahah

  38. gphoenix51 on March 1, 2022 at 1:42 am

This entire video, I’m cringing, wincing and closing my eyes. I’m just waiting for something horrific to happen with this utter piece of crap.

  39. Gethyn Phillips on March 1, 2022 at 1:44 am

Is that charging handle just there so folk can just push it down on a table and look cool ?

  40. Scott McKinney on March 1, 2022 at 1:44 am

    CEO mindset

  43. Mr. Orange on March 1, 2022 at 1:47 am

    Why?

  44. PhuckYo Couch on March 1, 2022 at 1:48 am

That feeding issue with the tip of the round shearing off as it passes the magazine is a common problem with 10/22 mags. I’ve found it helps to feed copper jacketed ammo.

  45. Christopher Dean on March 1, 2022 at 1:49 am

The basic idea, a semi-auto pistol that would take 10-22 mags, is quite a good idea. Something along the lines of a C-96 with an updated grip design, would actually be quite cool!

  46. curtis Robeson on March 1, 2022 at 1:50 am

On a longermag keep your fingers off the hand, sligest pressure down on front of the mag makes round do the same thing,

  47. Charles Young on March 1, 2022 at 1:53 am

Imaging if the zip was reliable and full auto it would be soooo cool
